Glad he finally got into the RR hall of fame. 2024. A very nice singer/guitarist combination. He himself was very surprised at his induction into the 2024 RR Hall of Fame.

I was 12 ..had to have Sgt album. Now I'm 55. Realize ..although sweet song..the words. " boy your gonna carry that weight to me mean..baby is a burden..he had a baby..his mates..say .."boy your gonna carry that weight which is how 1970 was. I was ment to feel worthless cause woman's liberation Haden happens yet. So his baby is a weight. Original Beatles so no bad to Peter.
Sad comment, but not unusual for a young man in the free-wheeling 70's to feel that a baby is a weight. Just the ignorant thinking of the times. Don't dwell on how you felt..Then...it's a new day and just think of the women who would love to have a Child! Original Beatles were not the most sensitive or highly educated lads at that time. ..just rolling with the times and going with the tide ! Later you know they evolved over time. Peter, no shade intended was just a lad of that generation. I believe that's why younger adults now are taking their time to marry or become parents!
