A request to everyone at The Analogues: please don't stop doing these performances. The world needs music like this, people like you. We still have a chance...
I have an incredibly bad feeling that it might soon be over: They are currently playing a "Best of"-programme called "Hello, Goodbye". Please don't prove me right. In this hopefully unjustified fear, I'm going to London at the end of September to see them at the Paladium one more time. And then again to Berlin in Mid October, where they finish their German tour at the Verti Music Hall.
This medley is just further proof of the genius of Paul McCartney. The fact that The Analogues can replicate it live, almost note for note, is testament to the superior talent of each member. Very well done. I'm sure that, somewhere, Paul McCartney is smiling.
And if possible an extra round of applause for the Geoff Emerick's of then and now as well as the digital engineers without whom it could not then and can now. The copy paste of the voice effects is really amazing.
They are not a tribute band. They play the Bestles note for note with the same instruments from that period. It's like saying the LSO is a Bach/Beethoven tribute band.
El mejor grupo tocando lo que tocaban The Beatles, no son ellos, pero lo hacen extraordinariamente bien. Es casi como haberlos devuelto a la vida, para los que no tuvimos la fortuna de verlos tocar. Gracias Thank You The Analogues!
It is not just that they are good. Having listened to the Beatles endlessly for over 40 years i know all the songs to the bones : each breath, each whisper, each subtlety and boy how did The Analogues have nailed it all! Magnificent!!
I agree. It's almost a shame they saved their best work ever for the very last. But what a line to finish on. (Yes, I know Her Majesty is last but its not part of the closing medley.)
He doesn't have the raunch. I could sing this better but it would take me a few to learn this on piano since I don't play. It sounds easily enough done though.
except the Beatles could never in a million years produce it that close themselves. And i say that as a huge Beatles fan and a musician. The Beatles couldnt replicate it like that.
@Orechaser how can you even say that. They made the song and were only around for like 8 years. Probably like one or two years after this song came out. This guy has had like 40 years to practice a 50 year old song. Maybe they can't replicate it because 2 years after this song came out they broke up. Then in 20 years 2 members passed away.
I’m blown away at how meticulously this band has been able to recreate, LIVE, such beautiful and complex songs from the Beatles that were only ever the products of studio work. It’s wonderful to hear these works being performed live. They are symphonies for future generations. Exceptional. Congratulations, Analogues.
Heard this song for many years, but it holds new meaning for me after seeing my mom, dad, and 2 dogs (ALL very dear to me) pass away in a span of just 1.5 years. Really hurts (posting with comment with a tear drenched face), even though knowing others have gone through the same in their own experience, it just really hurts. I'm definitely carrying that weight, as the song says, as I continue on with life carrying on their memories.
I found out about this group while browsing Beatles songs on TH-cam, I'm amazed I hadn't heard about them prior to that. I stay away from covers, because 99% of the time, the artists put their own spin on the music and I feel it suffers. But, I've never heard any band cover any music as well as this. They got the sound and feel of the piece spot on, they actually did the music much justice without the need for pointless showmanship. What an incredible band!
You should see the documentary of them Peter. "Sgt. Pepper 50 years later". They collected the original instruments from all over the world to sound just like the Fab Four.
Absolutely spot on - I love that little smile on the singer's face - he's thrilled with the performance - and so he should be! Sending love and huge thanks from Liverpool!
If you recall, there was a fairly long gap on the album before you hear Her Majesty. Thus it is here. At the very end you see Diedrick changing over to an acoustic guitar to play it.
My eyes are tearing up, so beautiful. It is stunning to hear the way they perform this song. It brings back memories of a period where I was playing music in the Netherlands. Being from the Netherlands and living in Rawlins Wyoming, I am missing playing again.
Look at that Diederik Nomden, has a jam with the other 2 guitars. He jumps behind the keyboard (guitar around his neck) and sing. Multifunctional musician. Absolute class!
I get a smile on my face when the drummer gives that look that says, "I got this" at the start of Ringo's drum solo. I love the Analogues' cover of this part of the Abbey Road album. Such a wonderful group of talented musicians and singers. So glad they found each other.
Cuantas veces habremos soñado ver a los cuatro genios ejecutar estos célebres temas así en vivo y directo...Bueno, no serán los auténticos, pero...por dios ! Que auténticos son interpretándolos !!!! Gracias por la música.
Masters of their craft, every single one of them. I'm still blown away at how at 4'43", the lead guitarist can casually sit behind his keyboard, toss his guitar pick aside and launch into the closing piano melody of The End without missing a beat.
I saw the Beatles twice on stage. Couldn’t hear them through all the furore that accompanied their every performance and viewing was constantly disrupted by St. John’s Ambulance personnel. The Analogues are giving the public exactly what I missed in the 60s onwards ie a true (I would say better) LIVE interpretation of some of the best works of music ever written, thank you.
it's recorded live, that's right, but that literally happened at the Abbey Roads Studio in London. It was their biggest recording room and a select audience was invited.
Thanks to the Analogues I (re) discovered so many Beatles songs and this gem is one of them that I totally forgot about. Thanks, guys for putting so much effort in recreating the perfect sound. I will see you in Zoetermeer next year! Love you!
The micro differences from the original actually makes it better for those of us who have heard the original 1000x. It's like a fresh version we've never heard before. Love it.
What a song. Don’t think it ever got the credit it deserved - a masterpiece. And now revived by a truely great “cover” band. Although cover doesn’t begin to describe this band’s talent
すばらしい。アビーロードのB面の再現ですね。The End ポール、ジョージ、ジョンのギターバトルもすばらしい。 The Love you take is equall to the love you make. 与える愛は、受け取る愛に等しい。なんとも哲学的。 まさに、ビートルズのフィナーレに相応しい 結論ですね。
So honoured to have seen these guys live recently in Munich. I started crying when they played this song. Magnificent. The best concert I have ever been to.
Wowwww! Like it to the max! You're all great, I think you're Beatle fans, coz' you nailed it, looks the best, the best tribute band of the greatest band, "The Beatles."
Just attended the first concert of the 1&1&1 is 3. They are brilliant! Played Revolver, Sgt. Peppers, and the oncore was Penny Lane and Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds, and all of Magical Mystery Tour! Spectacular!
The best cover I have ever heard of the Beatles....Excellent musicians and brilliant interpretation....The golden farewell to the best musical band of the 20th century.

Amen!
I'm dying to see them do Revolver!
Superb! Want this at my funural! What a way to go?

Again: This is the finest Beatles band tribute!
without a doubt
They are not a tribute band. They play the Bestles note for note with the same instruments from that period. It's like saying the LSO is a Bach/Beethoven tribute band.
I agree
I Wholeheartedly agree - All Thumbs Up! 5+ stars

Hi oldtimers. Born 52 here. Yeah that was fun.
@@geraldwalsh6489 you win ha ha!
There are no words..
I usually don't care for covers but stumbled on these folks a month ago. Totally blew me away. Been Beatles fan from the beginnig.❤😊
"And in the end the love you take is equal to the love you make." One of the best lines in all of rock and roll!
One of the best in all of music.
I agree. It's almost a shame they saved their best work ever for the very last. But what a line to finish on.
(Yes, I know Her Majesty is last but its not part of the closing medley.)
John Ritter was a tremendous fan of The Beatles and that quote is on his gravestone-A fitting memorial to life in general.
It wasn't good. Good doesn't adequately state how ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS that was. Bravo
Absolutely spot on, in my opinion this is the closest you will ever get to seeing and hearing the actual Beatles play.
NERVO if you eliminate the voices one could be forgiven for thinking this is ABBEY road on the turntable lol
u should hear the version Phill Collins
He doesn't have the raunch. I could sing this better but it would take me a few to learn this on piano since I don't play. It sounds easily enough done though.

This must be like going into Beethoven's frontroom and playing the 9th. Absolutely spot on.
But we don't know how the 9the was performed for Beethoven. We know how the Fab Four wanted the sound. And this is it.
I’m blown away at how meticulously this band has been able to recreate, LIVE, such beautiful and complex songs from the Beatles that were only ever the products of studio work. This is so faithful to the original that I expected to hear the opening chords of 'Her Majesty' next. Bravo!
If you see them live, you do get Her Majesty next!
If you recall, there was a fairly long gap on the album before you hear Her Majesty. Thus it is here. At the very end you see Diedrick changing over to an acoustic guitar to play it.
Indeed, it is rare to hear instrumentals so faithfully reproduced
Wow, that was the best Beatles cover I’ve ever heard. Absolutely perfect
Perfecto!
My eyes are tearing up, so beautiful. It is stunning to hear the way they perform this song. It brings back memories of a period
where I was playing music in the Netherlands. Being from the Netherlands and living in Rawlins Wyoming, I am missing playing again.
Oh my… This takes me back to the original version. How lovely!
Well done, Analogues. Well done, indeed.
Look at that Diederik Nomden, has a jam with the other 2 guitars. He jumps behind the keyboard (guitar around his neck) and sing. Multifunctional musician. Absolute class!
If Sting and Paul Carrack had a child he would resemble the handsome chap on the keys. Great job gents on this gem!!
Суперточно, нотка в нотку, тембр голоса, ритм- все чудесно!! Молодцы, самое лучшее повторили без ошибки!👍
What a sensational tribute , as close to the original as can be . Impressive
Got the towel on the snare just like Ringo did too> this is just beautiful. Like hearing the Beatles in high def.
This band is fantastic. They are super tight, with virtually no adlibbing, which shows deep respect for The Beatles' original versions.

Tears in my eyes! I find this so incredibly moving. What a masterful performance.
The interpretation of Golden Slumbers is just magical : the singer has really a wonderful voice. It is such a fantastic performance !
In the end, all you need is the Analogues.
You guys are simply the best Beatles cover band that ever existed. Bravo!!!
Just proves how good the Beatles were and always will be the greatest music act ever to inspire everyone
A massive treat to be at The London Palladium to watch Abbey Road being played in full!
They nailed it !! Absolutely incredible !!
That's the point. When we hear a cover we expect to get the most similar to the original soundtrack. The Beatles often did it, almost all the time
Absolutely wonderful. Masterfully done. Congratulations.
I get a smile on my face when the drummer gives that look that says, "I got this" at the start of Ringo's drum solo.
I love the Analogues' cover of this part of the Abbey Road album. Such a wonderful group of talented musicians and singers. So glad they found each other.
Brilliant. The best Beatles tribute band by a country mile.
Possibly the best sequence in modern music and a perfect performance.

This is shockingly good. Everyone is familiar with covers but to hear something so note for note and sonically on point from all aspects in insane.
Yeah, they seem to know what they're doin'...don't they ? :)
best music group to cover Beatles songs
Guitar solos are amazing
Incredible performance. To perfectly, perfectly, replicate the studio recording live like this..... wow.
