    Good video. I have the AeroGarden farm my self and I have experienced nothing of what you have experienced. One thing that the Farm has that the LetPot might not have is the sun rise and sun set feature so during the summer time you can have the lights start off dim then go to 100% brightness over 180 minutes and sun set the lights will dim over 180 minutes.

    A common cause of apparent calcium deficiency is nutrient lockout from having the pH and/or ppm off.

    Excellent comparison of the two hydroponic systems. One of the major points of comparison is the size of the units. The LetPot stuffs 21 pods into its 10"x 15" grow deck where other systems might put 9 or 12 pods. This tighter spacing is not always a good thing and can cause spreading plants like lettuce to get jammed together and not produce well. Many aerogardeners regularly leave up to half their pods unused to allow the remaining plants to spread out, covering the empty ones with spacers.
    The larger size of the Farm is designed to allow more space per pod to grow larger items like peppers.

      I agree. I don’t mind the size of the aerogarden due to your point exactly.

    Another thorough review! Well covered!
    It does sound like you narrowed your plants' difficulties in the Aerogarden to the nutrient solution. Have you actually tried the LetPot solution in the Aerogarden? Since LetPot's bells&whistles are not really ready for prime time, even though their basic functions produce good plants (though you have to say that the water refill function really is kinda basic), I wonder if one of their less smart, non-wifi units would be a decent choice for someone who is cost-conscious, and does not really need the automation features. Thanks for hanging in there with Customer Service (or non-service) to see if you could make it work for us....the patience it must have taken!
    Thank you so much. I think if your family really wants a steady supply of lettuce and other cool weather veggies during the summer, some form of hydro is a must in your gardening arsenal.

      @HomegrownFloridaZ9a  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, I definitely think the nutrients for Letpot is better but they only sell them in small quantities and they don’t provide ingredients so that makes me weary. I’m trying a few other types of hydroponic nutrients to see what might work better. I would wholeheartedly recommend the basic aerogarden bounty or harvest. Far less expensive than both of these and really straight forward. I have one and I still love it. Never had one issue. (And yes, customer service was frustrating 🤣. I’m guessing you could tell by my face in the video)

      @@HomegrownFloridaZ9a No, you were the picture of professionalism; I just know how fun it is trying to explain how things work in the US and not having anything register at the other end. The engineer in China was probably wondering why anyone would want to grow vegetables indoors in such tiny quantities, even though it was an interesting exercise.

    What kind of herbs do you grow inside during the summer?

    • @HomegrownFloridaZ9a

      I mainly grow lettuce during the summer. Sometimes I will grow basil out in the hydroponics systems if it’s just too cold during winter or sorrel during summer but I usually transplant them out to the garden once the weather improves.

    • @HomegrownFloridaZ9a
      @HomegrownFloridaZ9a  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@liamthompson9090 absolutely. I’ve grow. Cherry tomatoes in mine just fine. Aim for a patio or container variety. They do best in these systems. Aerogarden makes seed pod kits for tomatoes which grow super easy. Highly productive from my experience for such a small space.
