Depends on what you are coding, it has decent power behind it, but I would not go for it just because of the keyboard. I like smooth tochy keyboards for coding.
It has 45 W power limit on 4060 because it has only just one fan blowing the hot air outside. Why doesnt anybody mention that? It performs terribly compared to the other RTX 4060 mobile GPUs. Do not buy this thing.
i cant find any way to use only my dgpu.. there is no mux switch, in the bios the only option is muxless, and on nvidia control panel the display is on the igpu, please help MSI Thin GF63 12VF
i have this laptop and i play simple games like left4dead2, counterstrike source, gta 4 and minecraft. Runs smoothly all over 120fps. heating will be a problem unless you have a fan pointed on it. else its great even for coding and daily use
Guys, I really need help on what I'm going to pick between these two "MSI GF63 THIN 11UC-1467PH i5-11260H+HM570/RTX 3050 4GB 512 SSDor ACER ASPIRE 7 A715-76G-53J9 i5-12450H GTX1650/4GB 512GB SSD 8GB. Which one should I pick? they have the same price at my country. I want a laptop that is very durable, they said msi gf63 build is bad that's why I'm having trouble on which one should I pick. please reply ASAP.
What a complete nonsense to compare a more than double price notebook (RAZER) and YES for a gaming laptop bigger is MOST TIMES better as those VERY PRICY ones most times don't deliver, but only look 'good' for being very thin, RATHER when turned off, tho... Maybe look at some comparisons of real-time gaming power and you see you pay for thin and nothing more which makes no sense for nearly any people, definitely none that would look at a review of this type of bang for the buck notebook!

Price is the answer.
A gaming laptop with only 1 fan for cooling. That's not good. Thermals are probably gonna be 90-100 degrees celsius.
But still one fan is enough at that price
I bought an Aicheson laptop cooling pad for my gf63 and it lowers my temps significantly
@@BerkayAydın-k4v U can watch Benchmark whit rtx 4060 mobile 45watt vs 115 Watt the different isnt that Bad

watch the video, it shows all you need.

MSI Thin GF63 12VF
You should be able to configure it in any application you are planning to use and set dgpu of your choice as a primary driver
is there a mux switch feature?
not on this model at the time of testing. It's an entry level machine for MSI, I think they would rather install it on more expensive frames.
Can I use this one for simulation on ansys for collage?
not sure, my advice is go by the specs Ansys recommends for their software and then pick the laptop.

yep, a good budget daily runner
HDMI 4K @ 30Hz is lame.

@LS-cm9lt watch it again. It's not compared, it's being put next to it. You get triggered from your own imagination.
