I'm torn between choosing DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro as I embark on my journey to become a video editor. While I know that DaVinci Resolve is a good option to start with, I'm concerned that my laptop specs might not handle it smoothly.
Here are my laptop specs:
Processor - Intel i3-1115G4
Ram - 8GB
Graphics - Intel UHD Graphics (VRam - 128MB)
Storage - 1TB (HDD)
I plan to upgrade my RAM to 16GB and add a 500GB SSD soon. Will these upgrades be enough to run DaVinci Resolve smoothly, or should I consider starting with Premiere Pro instead? Alternatively, do you have any suggestions on how to optimize my laptop for DaVinci Resolve?

davinci need high specs then premiere because it integerated with fusion . fusion is like after effects iif you dont use fusion then you cant compromise on specs but also without fusion you need high specs pc around 16 gb ram ryzen 3 2nd generation or intel 9th genration processor 2gb graphics card . with fusion upgrade ram to 32gb and gpu to 4gb .

i am facing this really annoying problem in premiere pro, unlicenced software ka pop up aa rha hai bar bar and jaise he aata hai it closes.
Also the fact that the place where i work in, are not liking my color grading. Adobe Premiere Pro mein Color correction karna itna mushkil hai
but the only thing keeping me from using davinci is the workflow of after effects and premiere pro.
