I've been in an N55 without cat and it was just a touch too loud with a straight through exhaust for a daily, at least for me. I think I'm gonna go with a 200 cell race cat. I'm also not a big fan of the smell of going cat-less. It does sound sick though.

Hey bro. I have n55 like you and I got a muffler delete when i still had my cat. It droned really bad like it shook the car from 2k rpm to 3k rpm. I now have cat delete and i am FBO. i want to get the vrsf muffler delete because of the restriction with stock exhaust. Basically im asking do you still have the muffler delete and does it drone bad? Seems like when your in the car it dosnt drone. Anyway what do u recommend? Do you think you dont drone because you got the 800 muffler delete? Or do you just deal with drone? Btw your car screams and i want that. Plus better exhaust flow for stage 2 and its lighter. I'm very pleased with exterieur sound but I'm experiencing a lot of drone inside of the car. Especially between 1400 and 3000 rpm. Was this your experience as well or not at all? Did you find a way to reduce this somehow? Would love to hear from you.

Lol I had that on my f10, it was a resonator and a muffler delete, it sounded amazing but the drone was a killer. Put the resonator back on, and with the mufflers off it still sounds great but drones a bit unfortunately. Don’t know what to do lol
it just depends on what you're looking for! I like the MPE but this setup is way more aggressive sounding and a bit louder, so that's why I went with it.

What have you had done to gap a a car with 40 BB hp mm ore than you as standard? I couldnt even hear the c43 V6 and AMG sound nicer than most BMW but I'm after a m235i so much better bang for buck

That's fair, but i can promise you this sounds so much better than if you went to a muffler shop and have them just hack the muffler off and weld piping through. Mainly because of the tubing and quality of stainless steel

It's a section of welded steel pipe. It'll sound the same for like a third the price.

I unplugged mine on the stock muffler and got a stored code which could cause you to fail emissions, depends where you live.
