- It has been 25 years since Lisa Kudrow and Mira Sorvino took on the roles of Romy and Michele and launched a cult classic. In 2011, Entertainment Weekly brought the pair got back together to dish on what they remembered best from making this much-loved film. “The point of it was to have fun and to create fun,” Sorvino said of her experience on set. “And I’ve never had so much fun on a set as I have on that one.”

Its a comedy about 2 women going to their 10 year highschool reunion. They lie about what they've been doing the last 10 years. Its hilarious....👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Lots of people do movies and tv shows at the same time. Courtney Cox did friends and Scream, Sarah Michelle Gellar did Buffy and Scream2. Why are you asking loads of odd questions, like what this movie is about as if you want a long explanation when you could easily google it to find out
Loved it! My younger sister and I watched this so many times. Sometimes we would call one another and say "I'm the Mary" and hang up. Lmao. We were best friends.

Love this movie so much. Lisa Kudrow already played Michele in her early years, and she performs effortlessly. And Mira's development for the character, lowering down her voice, walking like a bulky boy, is hilarious.
Can not wait for the sequel!!

I never saw them as stupid characters. They just said awkward things because they are outcasts. They just aren’t socialized to talk to boring people.

They should have had more of the cast talking about their roles, not random people from entertainment weekly trying horribly to connect each previous role the actor had to the current character
Lisa is fluent in French. Mira speaks fluent Mandarin and French.
Remember the Episode of Friends when Phoebe tried teaching Joey French? I didn't know Lisa was actually fluent in French.
I really enjoyed watching Friends, and recently I have been looking up other acting roles played by Lisa Kudrow. I like her more now than I did 25 years ago.

I really love the explanation behind Romy's low voice and it does make sense because Romy is sort of "masculine" in a way (not an insulting way, she's a very beautiful woman).

Yes a sequal. They get married, sell the shop. Go their own way. Come together for their 30th reunion. One is divorced without kids. One is tied down with a spouse and kids and needs to let loose. They have a great time etc etc.
