Jodie Foster is a true treasure in the world of cinema. Her brilliance on screen is astonishing, but what truly sets her apart is her depth as a person. Besides being one of the most talented actresses of our generation, she is also an exemplar of integrity, dedication, and passion for her craft. Her ability to transform into every role she plays is extraordinary, and her commitment to bringing authenticity and truth to every character is evident in each of her performances. But what truly makes Jodie Foster remarkable is her compassionate heart and dedication to social justice. Her commitment to important issues extends beyond the world of entertainment, demonstrating that her inner beauty shines just as brightly as her outer beauty. Jodie Foster is truly an icon, both on screen and in real life.
I mostly admire how DIGNIFIED, and intelligent she is as a person. Such an extraordinary actress, and yet, never in the spotlight for any paparazzi caos. A very grounded person, who actually had all the opportunities to go towards the wrong path, but intelligently chose right.
Ladies you’re all so beautifully you…Jen (ever sensing), Nicole (lovingly truthful), Naomi (keeping it real), Brie (clear and confident), Anna (graceful) , Sofia (raw and earthy) , and Jodi (observant and wise) …Thank You for sharing. Truly a very special group of women who have impacted so many lives through their work. 🙏🏼
Jodie Foster is a living legend. She's on another level entirely, so I love that she just listens to everybody intently, takes it all in, and then speaks her wisdom..
Those words from Jodie to Sofia made me cry, how beautiful how she motivates her to be proud of herself for what she has done and the place she is in today. 😢 love this.

I have a feeling Anna has a major career ahead of her. I hope these ladies will help foster her success. Brie does as well, she carries great confidence and already has had a stunning career.
Nicole Kidman gives me the vibe where we can have a girls night at a bar, I rant about my petty issues and she mothers me through it all with her extravagant experiences. She’s so charming
Yes. She's so lovely and confident, and surprisingly warm. I feel Jen A. has some introvert but smile-for-the-camera persona and our anxieties will heighten. I feel for her, after her public divorce she tends to not reveal herself in interviews. Naomi Watts also endeared her to me, which is nice as I'm not as familiar with her work.
Notice how much Jodi just listens, rather than speaks. She recently said it’s one of the things that changed when she hit 60. Child prodigy, great actor, veteran talent, and amazing woman, not mention a natural beauty, is the woman known as Foster.

These actresses that can't age gracefully or at least tastefully without looking so altered do not in any way support real women. Kudos to Jodi and Naomi for staying tasteful. Nothing against a bit of help, but too much tweaking just looks frankensteinish. I'd rather look like I need it than look like I've had it. There is a balance. Holllywood is fake as can be and is no friend to women. That's why I prefer European films where people still look like real people and not Barbie cutouts.

It didn’t come across as patronising at all to me. It was a typical women’s discussion, everyone was listening and empathising. It’s very difficult to get that across without making emphatic noises. I bet if you asked Sofia she wouldn’t say she felt patronised.
Thanks 100% for getting the most awesome actors together to speak so frankly about their experiences. One thing l noticed at the beginning was them discussing saying "no" to scenes. I’m proud of you Sofia, you made a name for yourself against all the obstacles and stereotypes as a newcomer in Hollywood. I love how brave and real she was to share her true feelings and also acknowledge the limitations that her “profile” as an actress has to deal with. She, at one point, couldn’t say NO to projects or uncomfortable demands because she would have no work.
Selma Hayek has done wonderfully well as a Latina in Hollywood.I think Sofia's drawback is her focus on her body rather than her talent as she showed when she said she didn't want to play a scientist. She's proud of her sexuality and her comic approach seems to be a way to try to make others comfortable with it. She has what it takes, she just limits herself thinking she's limited when she's really not limited.

Exactly what I was thinking. So refreshing to see a Hollywood actress who has the confidence and integrity to age! She looks great and I just think it's sad so many female actors and presenters in the US and the UK go down the filler/plastic-surgery route. What sort of message does it give to young women and older women too...that we as women aren't allowed to age? IMO it's so anti-feminist... We need more Jodie's!
Let’s keep judgement on the sidelines and support women. We are not in their shoes and we do not know the pressure or self criticism they experience as they age. Who are we to judge because someone chooses differently? Support people!
That is the whole point! They are talking about what they have learned, how they can be supportive of others, etc. but it is said that because of the preassure, these beautiful women have blown up their faces in order not to show a wrinkle!
I loved watching this. At first, I wanted Anna Sawai to have more time to talk, I hope she didn't feel run over. But, loved seeing everyone's vulnerability come out. I took note of that. Wow, they are really kind. Just a lot of kindness from those two ladies 🙏🏻😌🥹. Everyone at the table is lovely, but those 2 kind of exude kindness & compassion. I can see it.
I love that Jodie brought up the introvert thing because that's exactly how I think it would be on a film set as an introvert. I love an introverted queen!
Yes, I really felt that part about having to bring so much energy to a comedy. I would be exhausted too. I think if I were an actor, I’d find drama easier like she does.
Imagine the best comedian, like Kristen Wiig, i dont think many people can do what she does, its just totally different ball park
I wish you would’ve had more questions for Anna. It’s such a rare opportunity to have a Japanese actress talk about her experience in Japan’s film industry and also learn the differences in acting techniques taught in Japan.
Yes!! I really wanted yo hear her more 😪

I think because she’s still young and inexperienced compared to the rest, it’s understandable she mainly listened. She can be featured with actresses similar to her age and experience
I could tell how awkward Sofia felt, during the first part and that changed after she became vulnerable, open and funny, she was all smiles !!! Love her!!

Yes. Her story was very compelling.
Jodie Foster is a true treasure in the world of cinema. Her brilliance on screen is astonishing, but what truly sets her apart is her depth as a person. Besides being one of the most talented actresses of our generation, she is also an exemplar of integrity, dedication, and passion for her craft. Wow Sofia Vergara doesn't even realize how talented of an actress she is
Cause she’s been pigeon holed into being the ditzy spicy Latina for decades. When someone is suppressed for a long span of time, they start to believe in the suppressing narrative.
The first time I saw Sofia on a talk show, I stopped in my tracks.
But, she isn't, though. We all know why she's there.

When she was talking about how she can't say no and the REALITY of her accent and the other women were trying to make her feel better by being all "aww, you can!" that felt oddly patronizing, but Sofia Vergara just kept speaking her piece. Really amazing and insightful woman.

She looks better and younger than all of them and I bet she's 20 years older. It's unbelievable
