Tesla model 3&y can both charge 10-80% in 20mins on a v3 sc. So how is it "game changing" to do the same in 2 less minutes of charge time a full 2 year's after tesla has done it? Not to mention hyundai didn't clarify if they would even offer plug&charge capabilities. Another feature tesla has had since 2013 now. 🤔

I bought a used 2016 Kia Soul EV last year with low miles and only one owner. It is the best vehicle I have ever owned. Every switch, knob, lever, dial and button has a firm touch and feel to it, with no sloppy wiggles. And although it is only 109 bhp, it is the most fun vehicle to drive I've ever owned as well: That instantaneous torque really makes a difference!

I did test drive for model Y and found myself that $70000 (Canada Long Range) was not worth... i know it runs more but interior and exterior were terribly assembled. Too much gap and cheap looked materials used on 70000 bux car. I am sure Tesla may suffer when original car brands such as Hyundai, Lexus or BMW started making proper EV with fully well designed shape... Range can be improved as the time goes by... Tesla will have better quality on making vehicles but cant just ignore technologies that original car brands had been building for few decades.

As a Kia Optima owner I would love to scale up to an EV. Hyundai really got this right with this one. Not only is the technology very cool but the car is EXTREMELY pleasing to look at. As a consumer we don't want cars that are so funny shaped they're embarrassing to show.
While there is some debate about how efficient solar panels are I'd say having them is still a benefit than not. I personally don't need a roof I can see out of and when I had my Lexus LS400 I pretty much kept the sunshield closed. It just made it too hot in the car.
I'd say if the pricing is right for the American market I may invest in this one.

Appears impressive, I hope they will make and sell more than a few thousand vehicles. It means nothing if you will only produce and sell a few thousand vehicles per year in each country. I wanted to get a Toyota RAV4 prime but couldn’t because Toyota only sell about 5 thousand RAV4 Prime in the U.S. The price is also important, I hope Hyundai can keep it several thousand dollars below the price of the Tesla model Y.
