      Get photo resizer app, set to increase your image to 9000 pixels. I think 9999 is upload limit. I do mine from android phone and it can't handle the 9000 size, not enough memory, but okay on computer.

    • @JaneM.Blackboot
      @JaneM.Blackboot 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Redbubble has a FAQ about image sizes and also has templates to download. Also the Canva pro versiom allows you to resize and make custom sizes. Sizimg images is often more time consumimg than making the actual design. You will always have to adjust and save a few sizes.

    Is it legal to sell designs you make on Canva? When I read their terms of use it didn't seem like it was legal to sell anything you create on Canva.

    • @stonescorpio
      @stonescorpio 3 ปีที่แล้ว +32

      I've also read the terms. It's perfectly legal to sell art made with Canva, you're just not allowed to sell individual ELEMENTS from Canva. For instance, if you take their clipart of a man fishing and try to sell it as-is, that's a no-no. But if you take that clipart and incorporate it into a poster with text and a background, you're a-okay. Just make sure you're transforming their resources somehow to make them into something new.

    @Alexandra Strambu Repeating patterns are great, but not so much as one illustration, because they can only be scaled up or down. It's pretty easy to make a pattern like you made in your video, but then make it seamless, so you can fill duvet covers or shower curtains with that seamless design and still scale it up or down, if that makes any sense. There are numerous video's on YT that explain how to make a pattern seamless.

    Thanks Alexandra for all the great tips! Do you think is better to have one RB account for photography and other with graphic design? Or just one for all?

    Is it legal to utilize those figures/vectors for commercial use? Thank you!

    • @AlexandraStrambu
      @AlexandraStrambu  4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Yes it is! Here are the specifics from Canva themselves : "All free media on Canva can be used for free for commercial and noncommercial use.
      If a photo, icon, music track, video or other media contains an identifiable person, place, logo or trademark, please ensure you check the source or contact us if you’re unsure (We can’t guarantee that any free media have the appropriate releases for commercial use). Attribution is not required but always appreciated. You can be creative and edit the media as you like." I think the only place you have to be more careful is the stock images they have but those aren't that applicable to designs anyway.

      All free content can be used for commercial use, just don't use premium content unless you've purchased it or you have a license because you'll be nailed for copyright infringement.

    Hi Alexandra, I found this video because I was searching to make sure I had the right to upload something I made on Canva to Society 6 and that it met the terms and conditions for copyright. It looks like using Canva elements is common. Can you confirm this?

    Alexandra, Canva has high resolution enough to Redbubble? Redbubble will print that image later on objects.

    do canva elements have coyright?, i think they do, i dont think you can make money out canvas elements, other than lines and stuff.

      I was going to ask the same question. I watched another video by someone else that mentioned that fonts/elements and pictures from Canvas cannot be used to sell anything.

      I didn't read it totally but I think you can use it if you make your own designs
