We have been in the mobile home business for years, and thought why not upload videos about something we can relate to and deal with every day.
We have seen the mobile home business come such a long way. In the old days most people referred to mobile homes as a trailer house. However some of the manufactured homes we carry are far from “trailer houses.”

My son Jace who has autism is a huge fan of yours. He has fallen in love with looking at mobile homes, then found you. He has watched every video he comes across. Thank you for doing this.
Hi Jace,. GOD BLESS YOU 👍👍🦓🌟🛐✝️🀄❤️🍉💖🌻💰
Aww, bless you Jace! 😊😊😊😊
Hi Jace 👋🏻
Hi Jace. I love them too.
Hi Jace ❤
The only negative of the fireplace is that there's no privacy. You can see right in to the house.
I agree with you on that!
Where I live a bear would be warming himself on the outside.
I hate double sided fireplaces. You might as well hang a flashing neon sign - THIEVES ENTER HERE,
You could put up a privacy screen
You can also see right inside the house through the window/door right next to the fire. Why would anyone bend over to look through the fire?
Gorgeous. I don't know why Champion is waiting 5 years to bring this to market. It would sell easily right now.
Probably because of the price tag 👍. I saw a trailer that was similar to this, about 9 years ago and it was about 90K back then! Can only imagine what it’s priced now 🙃
ABSOLUTELY!!!!!!!!!
The mistake Champion is making is waiting FIVE (????) years to put this out on the market, because customizing a basic single-wide, mobile home shell is relatively easy to do, with today's technology and high-end materials. I'll readily admit I am already looking at getting a shell like this (with the slanted roof), and tweaking it in a few places, along with an almost identical outdoor deck area. Only difference is Champion will be losing LOTS of potential customers (including myself) because their great idea won't be on the market for FIVE LONG YEARS.
I would buy one now for maby 60,000.
Champion needs to get this model or a line of models of this type into the market as soon as possible as an affordable alternative for first time buyers. I'm sure there is plenty of pent up demand for this type of home. This is a beautiful concept. I really like it! Not enough closet space and where is the dowel rod in the master bedroom closet? I don't care for the pass thru fireplace. The fireplace is gorgeous though… But I would only want it to be in the living room, not a pass thru to the outside deck. A wider version of this model with a half bath for guests would be nice. I'm not a huge fan of having my guest use my personal bathroom. The pricing seems a bit high for a single wide mobile home. Great video!
The curtain rod for the master closet was in the box in the closet. Not put up yet.
Definitely not a lot of storage space, and that low window in the kitchen precludes adding any along that wall ~ and no pantry to compensate! Having lived in a 'tiny' home (12 x 24) for 7 years now I can honestly say that even with a large deck or porch, for a home in this price range the storage is seriously lacking and the space is not all that well utilized. While I can allow for personal tastes and choices, this would not be mine. After the years we've spent in this tiny space (just two of us) we've added a second shed at right angles, a corner joining room that is 12 x 12, and this spring we're adding a second room that is 12 x 24 along the back of one shed. In the end what we'll have is a 12x12 kitchen (with a 'secret' pantry that extends into the 12 x 24 add-on) and a 12x12 dining area, two full bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, a laundry room, a craft/gaming room, an office room with second floor storage (in the 12x12 corner joining room), an L shaped deck in the front, and a 12 x 12 covered mower parking/tool storage. Granted, we've done and will do the rest of the building ourselves which cuts out considerable costs, but we've done this for just under $24,000.00 (and a good portion of that was the cost of the rent to own sheds). We're retired/partially disabled, so the entire home is also built to ADA standards so we can age out in it. The additions are built/will be built using the 8x8 dimensional lumber 'log' style, and the sheds were retrofitted to code standards. We have two wood burning stoves and a wood burning fireplace as well. When we're done building this spring, our sq ft total will be 960 ... a bit more than this one, but with so much more functionality.
Pretty decks don't make up for the lack of kitchen or storage in this one. If this is the future, I'll pass.
I feel the same way… especially about guests using my private bathroom!!!!
I live in a champion, 3 bed 2 bath 1300 square feet. Top of the line, drywall, no panels. Love it!
So Champion is a made with Good Quality? I was in the industry approx. 26 years ago, Clayton was the WORSE, floors would buckle after 3 years, Champion was OK, not the BEST, but not the Worst made home either. Redmond was the Best (don't think they are around OR Name Changed. Anyone know about Winston Homes?
@@janephillips3627 I've only lived here two years and it's only three years old but I've noticed no issues except a little settling on the drywall seams, but very few.
@@MissterX : good!
This would be first mobile home, that I would be interested in. It's nice to see them, going modern.
Definitely better looking than the traditional mobile homes. They put this out to get feedback, no doubt. Much better alternative to a tiny home, but that is about it. It lacks storage. It would be perfect for a single person and they can make that tiny 2nd bedroom into a storage room.
Easy-to-follow shed designs This guide has the information you need to design and build your own ideal backyard shed. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxzaRUJNcbypw-fRBDbqqz43ULIa-1EGP- The book then presents several basic sheds, along with a number of more complex special-use sheds. It was fantastic and I wanted to let all the readers know that even a little old Grandma can build a shed. Thanks to the author for offering all the directions to build a shed from start to finish.
Very contemporary design….clean look….will appeal to many who typically don’t like mobile/modular homes! Way to go Champion Homes! Nice one Chance!
It’s about time that mobile home builders change the way they design their homes especially with the cost. It’s time to make them look more acceptable in the housing market. Mobile home builders need to raise the roof pitch. One of the things that has always bugged me is low ceilings in mobile homes. I believe this is the wave of the future but the outside design needs to change and the ceilings inside need to be raised. It’s not kept up with the inside of the homes. Although a little small, I really like a lot of things about this house. I would want it to be a little bigger along with a separate laundry room for bigger laundry machines. I love love the fireplace. I would want a covered porch. I would replace the tube with a microwave or put the microwave in one of the shelves. This is a great start for redesign. Champion should hire me to help with redesign.
Set that right on some beach property. I love this one.
I would make the deck a wrap-around to connect to the sliding door in the living room. It's a really nice build, and seems to be built to cater to outdoorsy people.
I totally agree on a deck connecting the 2 sliding doors.
I love modern design and I am so tired of the same old designs! Let’s get this into production asap!!❤
I love this home. It is so nice to see a contemporary design with zero influence from the farmhouse style. 👍
Yeah, none of those ugly barn doors. I hate them!
You did a great job, Chance, as you always do. Blessings to you and your family.
Since this is a smaller home with smaller rooms I think I'd want hideaway doors (sliding) for the both bedrooms, bathroom, and closet doors. I like seeing linen closets such as this one displayed near the bathroom. I believe in closets for storage and coat closets close to the livingroom/entrance rooms as well which most manufactured homes don't seem to have any. That makes me nuts! I'd also like to see enough room for a regular utility room that includes a space for at least an upright freezer too.
Absolutely
Storage in the bathroom is my peeve.
Is he strong in mathematics and spatial relations? Maybe he is a budding architect!
Idk about a sliding door as the main entranceway. I'd replace that with solid wood double doors
I would replace it with a Heavy Metal Double Door for safety and would look Elegant being a double door.
Love this modern style! Doesn't look like manufactured homes at all. I've seen this type style in homes constructed in other countries. Glad champion is looking towards this. My only suggestion is make a bigger version!!
I love it but!I just wish it was bigger and has darkening windows can see out, they can't see in.
I love your excitement about this home. I'm looking forward to seeing 2024 new manufactured and modular homes.
What I love about this home is that it looks like a jacked up... good jacked up LOL tiny home :) what I don't care for and I do love a double-sided fireplace I don't like the idea that you can see from the porch into the home for privacy and security reasons.
so mobile homes are finally being upgraded to resemble "tiny homes/Park Model homes"..... about time
I think this would make a great vacation home.
I love the gas stove
I could see myself livin in that!
I’d live in this home in 2.2 seconds!! Love!!
Tiny home movement meets the original tiny homes, mobile homes.
Summer Vacation Home at a Campground.
I think the kitchen is great. I would opt for a nuke above the stove and a double basin country sink. I'm undecided patio door in the living room end wall. Make it 18'wide and two foot longer in the 2ndary bedroom, and I do believe a winner. I would replace the tub with a 5' walk in shower. I would like you show more like this. Thank you for a great video.
"Gobsmacked!"
Love that mid-century modern chair. It kind of looked "Eames style".
Love this single selection home this is tiny home living at its finest this house is a perfect example of downsizing without compromising lifestyle
😬 And they can keep the rainbow zebra 🤣🤣🤣
You guys have the most beautiful manufactured homes just beautiful this is beyond just stunning
This is absolutely my favorite manufactured home‼️ I could happily retire here! 🥰
LOVE ❤ Where can I purchase? Only thing I would change would be a shower only instead of shower/tub combo. and would like a tankless gas water heater.
I love this house. Do more like.
The house seems Amazing.😁
Chance, I could totally see this house up north in northern Michigan with the deck side facing a lake on some nice property! Just a small vacation cottage/home. Perfect for summer and winter activities. You could just keep your toys in a nice pole barn. Snowmobiles, water sport toys like kayaks or tubes.
That's an Eames style chair, nice!
I love the modern clean look of this home. Well done, Champion. Keep it up. And Chance, TFS
Small but attractive. 140k would be more like it in my opinion though... unless it comes furnished.
As soon as I saw the black exterior, I knew I was going to love it. It's beautiful! This is the style that makes me giddy. Lol
I'd use the hallway closet as a secondary clothes closet since the one in the main bedroom is kinda small.
I liked everything about the house. You could do a wrap around deck to include that sliding door. I am definitely thinking lake or mountain house with all those windows on one side. But I would think that in NC. 😊
What a lakehouse!
I loved this home the first time you showed it, I wanted it then. This is my 5th time watching the video Love it even more, I want I want I WANT!
I actually really love all the windows on this! And I like the fireplace like that too.
I like the indoor outdoor fireplace and the transom windows throughout. Otherwise, it's definitely a tiny home. But overall, I like it.
Wait. Is this a manufactured home or a modular home? Mobile homes have advanced like this!? 😮 That's amazing.
I love those fireplaces, and look at the island bar!
I would, if possible, skip out on the 2-way fireplace. That's just too much of a security risk. That second 'bedroom' is NOT a bedroom. It's an office area a most.
I wouldn't think that "fireplace" would be more of a security risk than the sliding doors and windows. I saw no place to vent it and assume it's electric.
I agree. It's a security issue because it's a two-way fireplace. So with that and all the windows, there is no privacy. I'm not sure why they thought two sliding door entryways were needed. I'd opt out for a door. That second bedroom is definitely an office.
For 700ft. they sure did a. wonderful job of including all the essentials...Chance, beautiful tour!
Finally a model that does not bore me to DEATH.
2nd “br” is no better than a closet or home office, but the exterior moves me.
I noticed you've been bringing out the outlets more so thank you for that you do such a good job. Keep up the good work
I love the homes you pick better than anyones i watch.😊
I really do love it. Can it be made 16’ x 76’ and widen the fireplace enough to accommodate a 65” TV. Also what about the same look but double wide. As is perfect for a vacation type use. The deck could easily wrap around from the entry and the sliding door at the end. Over all it’s very inspiring.❤Hope you and the family are well!
That home is gorgeous.
It’s beautiful inside and out, but I’d love it more as a double wide!!!
Loving this type of home!!! They need to roll these out!
The fireplaces is a definite no for me Not only can you see into the house it would also make it easily accessible for someone to break into your home I think this is just a section of a double-wide closed in and turned into a single section home.
So, you can't see in through all those sliding doors and windows? You could always put up a privacy screen when not using the fireplace.
Looks like they took left overs and made it! The sliding door seems like a good idea, but it's the first place you feel air coming in! That's why I took it out!😂😂
Chance, it's hard to believe that this is a mobile home 🏡🏡!! It has all the bells and whistles of a rustic home 🏠🏡!! Love the patio, in front!! Classy!! Love the Bedrooms and Bathrooms and The Kitchen and The Laundry Room!! Fantastic!! Reasonable price!! Love the wood paneling and flooring!! You can add anything that you want, if you can afford it!! Otherwise, you can leave it, just the way that it is!! Great Job!! Thank You for sharing this with us!!😊😊😊😊😊😊
Beautiful, innovative house! Gorgeous to look at inside and out.
Thank you for your time!! Really appreciate it!!
I love this home finishes and all it’d be prefect with a deck added and a garage LOVE LOVE LOVE IT YOU DID A GREAT JOB ON THIS VIDEO CHANCE THANK YOU SO MUCH
I would definitely wrap that front porch all the way around to them sliding doors with stairs to get to the back yd
We love watching your videos and cherish the pantry dance ❤ always hoping for a big pantry to see it , its too short , just love it 😁🎉
That House is One you put your Mother in Law in On the Back of your Property
What's not to love about this home??? Good Job Chance...
Great tour, Chance, thanks !
Very nice not so tiny house. 👍
Very impressive for its size. Great quality and attention to detail.
I love Love this home, the one and only thing I would change would to opt. for a tiled shower. Other than that it's PERFECT!
Super sweet single-wide 🥰
This one will do well 👍🏽
Good morning. Good to see you again.😊
This reminds me of a New Zealand home that had steps up to an upper level with 2 bedrooms. It's 9.8 feet wide, but looks as big as this. The company is Ruru Tiny Homes Auckland.
Love this!!
I would buy this home today if it was available! I Love everything about it... After seeing the video I would want a Tile Shower (No tub) and do away with that corner cabinet across from the W&D it's really not needed and just in the way other than those 2 things it's PERFECT!!!
They need to up their game and implement bigger bedrooms for this model
~Love your tours. Would you please give the (width and length) dimensions of these homes when providing content? That would be very helpful. Thanks.
I really like this home. Not wild about that see-through fireplace. I would also 86 the sliding door off the porch.
I have to wonder in addition to the privacy issues with the fireplace already mentioned, how much heat and/or AC is lost through that when not beinging used? Looks like a single pane of glass on both sides?
I thought about privacy but really the whole.house is windows so
.....
I love it!!!!
Very nice looking home. For me though, there is not enough cabinet storage in the kitchen.
Closet in the hallway can be used as a Pantry, right?
YES Chance... I was looking in the windows. 😊
Definitely a wrap-around deck/porch for the two sliding glass doors; not sure I like a “see-Through” fireplace though. double sided with a wall between on the fireplace would be better i think.
I love the fireplace! But a fear of a easy way for someone to break into home!
It's a knockout..for color & possibilities.. tho not new. Have seen others, & even w/deck.😊
The fireplace is an inside/outside fireplace! 😂
Love that it doesn’t look like a mobile home
it looks like a single wide trailer... probably because it is, and its an over priced one at that.
That’s the most modern cityfied single wide I’ve ever seen. Very nice!
The only thing I did like was the porch deck. Bedrooms too small, only 1 bath. Could be a tiny house.
I like the home. But with that livingroom its not for snow country.
When i first saw it, i thought buy two, have them face ti face with patios in the middle. Rearange the rooms some, and its a great summer home.
Love. Great for a nice country setting
Alot of room in the bathroom with shub😊👍
Chance, you always do an awesome job showing homes! Don't sell yourself short!
For people who want the modern look, they would love this. But, all i can think is ... if I lived there, I'd feel like I was in a fishbowl.
I agree with another commenter who said due to the square footage, they would want pocket doors. That would make a lot of sense especially for that hallway closet near the bathroom. I can see that it would be hard to reach the far left side of those shelves with the bifold doors they have on there.
Take care and see you Tuesday!
Thank you so much!
Wow. This is spectacular! ❤
Nice and unique looking outside. Small. No cabinet space for dishes and glassware in the kitchen. No nuke, unless I missed it.
I HAVE EVEN WATCHED THE VIDEO YET AND LOVE IT ALREADY FROM THE THUMBNAIL! 😍
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this home and would buy today if it was available, hope it's a reality soon. ❤❤❤❤❤
Hello Chance and Family.....its a beautiful home...but water heaters, do not belong in a bedroom closet..i would extend the deck around to the living room sliders...the double sided fireplace as much as its nice ...i would worry about it....because of break ins...i have a friend it happened to very recently....either you enclosed the deck or make a separate fireplace for the outside...maybe a utility room for all the mechanicals....Be Safe Be Blessed ❤
Great idea!!
Wrap around deck would look great!!! With a roof and screened in.
Oh yea!
this is the one i want. it’s perfect for me.
I love this home! The layout and use of space is really good. The outside is nice too. Love the fireplace too. I could live in this home! You did a fantastic job on this video too! Thanks Chance! 😃👍🏽
❤Makes me think of a tiny house which is what I’m looking for only thing I need 3 rooms. This is really beautiful, the dishwasher I would want a drawer one, loving the fireplace the view is amazing. The plenty of storage loving the rooms and loving the layout if I just needed a 2 bedroom I would love 💕 to have this house. It’s a waste to wait whether it’s 1 yr or 5 yrs this is a great home that anyone should be able to purchase now, Great job Chance 🙏🏾🥰🙏🏾🥰🙏🏾🥰🙏🏾🥰🙏🏾🥰🙏🏾🥰🙏🏾
I've seen this model before and it was called Black Diamond. Loved it then and really love it now that a w/d nook was added. I saw the look through fireplace on the other model 2 but I don't like that because I don't want people to be able to see inside my house. I would love love love a wood burning fireplace in that space.
I am thrilled to see this model again updated.
