@@Millicente That depends on what you define as "properly". If that for you would mean to be full on connected to and dependent on Google's services 24/7, then no, it's not working properly. For me, exactly this behavior is intended. But there's more grey zones too. For example I live in Europe, Honor is active here as well as Huawei and they'll release a westernized version of it sooner or later, so you can get it then.
Global version already released in my country ASEAN region, this phone already have everything that Android global has like android auto, google voice service & etc

Its too thicc for my liking especially after i tried the mate x3 side by side with the z fold 5 displayed together in store knowing that the v2 is thinner than the mate x3 which is pretty much as thick as my 14 plus with a thin case on it. Was willing to tolerate the pixel fold thickness but once i heard G2 i hesistated. Not a terrible chip but not as good as the snapdragon

Also the hinge connection when opened flat stick out too much i would catch myself on that. Basically same design as google fold without the google. 😮 that design didnt last very long with jerryrigitall it destroyed the screen

Just saw another review. The camera performance is...troubling, especially when the light drops. Video looked like junk. Will be interesting to see if that gets fixed. With a Q1 2024 release though, this thing will be an afterthought.
Device with interesting performance and aesthetically very pleasing. The issue with Honor is that it doesn't have a good software update and security patch policy (at least in Europe).
@@Jallelab99141 I've never heard of either one of those acronyms. It's been my experience when ordering phones from that part of the world that they usually run into a lot of unknown issues. Either you can't get the software to update properly or, they're lacking the correct bands to make them function properly. It's easier to go with a surefire winner and purchase a United States variant from a well-known manufacturer.

Wow i just looked at the fold 5's inside resolution compared to the honor v2's and honor has way more. Fold 5: 2316 x 904 and Honor V2: 2344 x 2156.
