This is the first foldable that has actually convinced me that there is a place for foldables beyond the brag factor and a few niche cases. Not sure it will ever be needed in my life, but if I was juggling a tablet and a phone, I’d definitely consider it.

I think it's worth it I used to use a tablet a lot back than I switched from a iPhone 14 pro max to the Google fold, I originally got the pro max for the bigger screen but the best decision i made was getting the Google fold, love that I have a smaller screen in the front and bigger tablet screen when I open it fits better in my pocket too vs the pro max switching from Apple to Android wasn't that hard for me because I used to use a android tablet and out of all the android systems I like Google's better vs Samsung

And while I'm still far off from buying a foldable(like many other people), the fact that oneplus managed to cramp these specs into this phone and make it(albeit slightly) cheaper than the competition is a step in the right direction in making foldables more affordable for the average person.

As a foldable phone, OMG! Out of all the ones I've seen from Mark, Unbox Therapy, and other TH-camrs who have shown different phones, this one beats them all so far. It also helps that the OS is actually good when it comes to having more than one app active at a time when using other apps, and it just shortens a bit, but not to the point where you can't see. I love that you can have three apps open and switch between them like tiles

I've been looking forward to seeing what One+ would bring with this foldable. It looks stunning, particularly in that green color. I think the only thing that disappoints is the lack of wireless charging. I've kind of gotten used to that with my current phone, so paying $1600 for a phone that doesn't do it seems counterintuitive. I'm certainly not a "power user," but I find the foldable screen tech really compelling, and being to view and interact with things on that larger screen is pretty attractive. I've heard a number of things aren't really optimized for the inside screen's aspect ratio, but that game you kept showing in the demo seemed to fill the screen well enough, even if there was a bug in the render. So, now I'm at that point where I'm asking myself, "If I'm willing to drop $1300 on an S23 Ultra (or maybe the S24 Ultra if I wait a month), why not cough-up the extra $300 and get the One+ Open? It's tempting. Very, very tempting. Keep watching reviews like this in hopes of finding something that'll tip the scales.

Love your video! The unbias analysis made me a fan! What urks my soul about some bloggers and media about this phone compared to the Z fold...umm...WE DO REMEMBER THAT THE PURPOSE OF THE OUTSIDE SCREEN ISN'T TO GIVE YOU A BIG SCREEN. IT DOES WHAT IT'S SUPPOSE TO AND WHEN YOU REALLY NEED TO MULTI-TASK AND ALL THAT JAZZ, YOU OPEN TO THE BIGGER SCREEN 🤦🤦‍♀️Who will buy a folding phone that they don't need to open? 🤔🤔🤔
