I definitely agree that our profession is full of people that are trying to be helpful so it make it a more chill environment!! Thanks for another awesome video man :)
@@sheanthesheep8816 hey! It's been challenging but the info you learn is very useful. I am glad I have professors who work with you to make sure you succeed. Who care more about if you pass the course as a whole, rather than if you get a 90 on an exam. If you wanna get more insights into what you may learn look up "pta practical exams" on TH-cam to get an idea. Hope this helps!
Fun fact my college application in AL for PTA listed watching this video as a requirement for the application. Now I’m hooked on your channel & think that I want to change my major from RN to PTA. ❤️
You’re smart and dedicated and a beautiful person 🙏💐❤️ God Bless! After falling into a diabetic coma and exposure to COVID-19 in June 2020 I almost died but am alive due to dedicated doctors, nurses, police, paramedics and physical and occupational therapists! I was in ICU for 2 weeks on a ventilator! I had to relearn how to walk and get back on my feet. You rock!
@@jeongeunpark2508 hi! Yeah I did but there’s is extremely difficult & a longer program. They only accept 12 people! & PIMA accepts 28. I got into PIMA & it’s honestly a great program so far! Started in sept. 2020 & will be done April 2022
@@tessnf im a student that was just accepted into a PTA program on the east coast of canada and as i was doing my research to make sure this was the career i wanted i learned that the program would take 2 years to complete and once you have the proper education along with workterms that i would be doing throughout the program you can be hired as PTA without having to have a license unlike a PT where you still have to pass a national exam to become a licensed PT
I need assistance! I recently earned my B.S degree in Kinesiology concentrating in exercise science ( within the states) and I’m looking to become a PTA. Is there a Accreditation course Review process that I can go through without going back to school for an associate degree ?
How is a Physical Therapist Assistant different from a Medical Exercise Specialist? It seems like PTAs are MES. Can you MAKE A VIDEO on that or just comment letting me know the difference.
I mean that depends , you can also ask for help when needed assisting. I’m a tech for now and I usually pick up a dude whos atleast 280 from his wheelchair to his bed. Depends the day I sometimes ask for help if my back feeling iffy.
Just got accepted into a Physical Therapist Assistant Program, looking forward to a new chapter in my life
By the way thanks for the great content
Hope the program goes well for you!
Congrats! I’m turning in my application later tonight!

Odd thing is here in Canada a PTA does not need to be licensed

the paperwork ppart really worries me
Can someone who has a weak back work as a PTA? I read online that PTA have to lift 300 lbs people.
