I use C Taper in my Cleveland wedges and the feeling and performance is absolutely fantastic!

I have tried every KBS wedges shaft, built them and AB tested them. I have an Ernie-sequence like swing. Tour V 125 in 60, Tour V or Tour 120 in SW, Tour 120 in GW….old ping z-z65 in irons including PW. It’s all about getting the spin down while still feeling some kick

Untipped 125 high rev 2.0 in 56 and 58 wedges are perfect

Gents, I started backwards and fell in love with the feel and performance of my 610 R+ in my wedges... which shaft will have a similar feel and performance to my wedges? TourV S soft stepped or Tour R+. I have Oban CT115 S currently and the feel is quite different. Thanks for your reply!

Ok, your closing statement about special for special wedges, how about a general suggestion. What would you suggest for a sand wedge vis a full swing gap wedge vs a high lobe wedge ? Just asking.

      Thanks for the question Brian.
A really solid choice would be the Tour. We mention it at the start of the video, it's really versatile and sits really well along side a set of Tour iron shafts.
If you really want to experiment from there you can. But you won't go wrong with the Tour at the correct weight for you, as a stock option.
      Hope that helps.

What wedge shaft would fit best with the KBS $ taper in the irons based on shaft profile/characteristics?

Hi Doc. The Hi-Rev and 610 aren't really designed to sit alongside any particular KBS iron shaft, they create specific shot traits that some golfers look for.
Don't forget you can buy a SW and PW shaft in the KBS $-Taper family which will have the same traits you experience in your irons. Just be aware of the weight difference golfers typically want in their wedges.
Failing that the Tour wedge shaft is the brands biggest selling wedge shaft, and thanks to its versatility, for high, mid or low spin players, it's a great match and starting point for many golfers.
      Hope that helps.

I can't find info anywhere and don't have any fitters around that have KBS. I'm using TGI 100gr X-stiff in my irons but looking for a shaft to use in all 5 of my wedges. Should I use the shortest shaft TGI makes and use that in wedges or go to steel and what compliments?? I've been using DG wedge flex for last 20 years

Whereabouts are you? We could see if we can get KBS to contact you direct?
