- This week we made a return visit to Seaham. We were too late to follow the tide out but we did manage to find some lovely little multis and beautiful sea glass! Come with us on a trip to one of the most famous beaches for sea glass in Britain :)

Lovely video!😊 My Sisters visit there every week to collect sea glass and other things, which one of them use to create beautiful pictures and sculptures. I lived on the coast about 45 mins north of Seaham for many years. This video brought back lovely memories for me of taking my children and dogs to our beach and hunting for interesting sea glass and stones over 30 years ago! I am very proud of our Northern beaches!😊🌞🌈💗🌊

Yesterday I visited Seaham and collected some sea glass for the first time. It's so beautiful and I totally understand why your were so excited when you found exceptionally pretty pieces.
Oh my goodness Kate. When you said a man in a hat with big lips I thought I'd die laughing. I love your imagination. You let me see things in a whole new way!
What a lovely outing. The glass reminded me of semi precious gems.
I like your new work, plink! Purple and pink together. When you hold up the clear, round ones I can’t help but see a thought bubble. If you wrote words on the bottom I wonder if they would show through? How often do you take Nanny with you? My gosh, your family is the most amazing family I’ve ever seen. You are all truly wonderful and kind people.
My mum lives quite far away from us so we do not get to see her much unfortunately :)

The fossils is of Echinoid which is sea urchin.
More specifically moste likely of Temnocidaris sceptrifera. Beautiful place for beach combbing, one on my bucket list and truly heartwarming video.

Lovely vid as always. With some of those very tiny one, you could make a fabulous crown for one of you doll heads, Seaglass Queen, if you will, or even use the ambers, browns, etc to give the illusion of fine spun hair. Oooh so many ways to use them all!!! Milliput jewelled earrings would be very special.

It is heartwarming to see those tender moments between siblings. Big sister helping, supporting and encouraging little brother. It makes me feel a tinge of sadness, I miss my little brother. He lives in Canada🇨🇦, he tried living in Denmark🇩🇰 but he didn't feel at home. I wish there was a beach over here in Denmark🇩🇰 that is full of sea glass. The 'jewels' you found at 8:37 look like the agates we find here on the West Coast of North America. I have found many like that in Oregon as well as my home, Vancouver Island. Great finds...lovely beach! You should make a photo print of that seaweed in the sand! Gorgeous!

Kate, I too have been "seduced by stones". Fleur, I heard that "I love this beach." What a wonderful whole family affair. I'm so glad that you made it back to Seaham and your finds were absolutely gorgeous. Those little multis with just a whisp of color are referred to as "just in time" multis (by Paula Newman of Seaham) because if they tumble any more, the color would be lost, so you rescued them just in time. A wonderful outing with great memories -- even Nanny and Oscar found their fair few. Another great video. Thanks for taking us along.

Your videos always make me cry, as you really show what it is to search for these little gifts and I feel like I'm there too. I haven't been able to go glass hunting/ beach combing in over 2 years due to both of my knees have severe deterioration of my cartilage, so it's extremely painful to walk! I get much joy watching your channel and Tom Burleigh(?) mudlarking channel. Both of you have kept a quality about your episodes. And the music is perfect! Wow, so many beautiful sea glass finds🤩🥰...and even some of the highly coveted reds and purples😮😯. My favorites are always the yellowy-browns (they look like amber), and the colbalt and bright blues(like fossilized droplets 💦 of seawater).
Congrats 👏👍 to Mr. Oscar...well done on your "multi" finds, my friend 😊. You've got the"eye" now for spotting Seaham "treasures".

Love the glass finds! The fossil is an Echinoid Cidaris (sea urchin), I found one similar to yours in the Blackwater Estuary when I was small -a nice rare find! 🙂

So spooky! I was on the glass beach at Seaham just yesterday. It was my first time there and I loved it. So many beautiful treasures to find and so relaxing...and it turns out that it's not too far from where I live. You found some gorgeous multis, Kate and Oscar did brilliantly too. I think it was Oscar's fine, I loved the one that looked like a egg. My favorite sea glass is the ones that are smooth. I think that is what you call bubbles. Like in all colors not just clear. Beautiful video.

Another lovely video in a beautiful setting. That is quite the sea glass hoard in your bowl and some great autumnal colors made just for Kate. Such a good big sister to be so excited for Oscar's finds. I really liked his egg multi, as well as the top hat with the lips and the tiny pink shell. I miss hunting sea glass and driftwood so much. There’s nothing like English or French beaches for finding beautiful glass. America doesn’t have the same kind of beaches :(
