The round blue slag glass with white crazing would make a beautiful sea turtle pendant. There are other collected pieces that could be used for head and limbs! Gorgeous collection glass for the day!

The teeny tinest sea gems will look great in your tiny clear bottles that you can’t help but pick up!
The blue colors slag glass we have along the Great Lakes in several places. People pick it up and collect it because it’s so beautiful. Of course it finds its west into jewelry and crafts. Leland Blue we call it. There was a iron ore smelting businesses along the lake shore. The slag glass is a result of heating the ore.

Wow - ladies that beach is a treasure trove! Thank you for sharing your beachcombing adventure. I can't believe it has been a year either...I was so taken by that VLOG and history of the glass industry in the area...I believe it is warm weather in the UK right now. Wonderful. I have to say the piece of glass you found and then discovered it was a recent one - SNAP. Happened to me last week. It was too flat on one side to be old and you found the same. That made me smile - I have returned my find too!!! LOL BUT all those multis and fossils - enjoyed this so much x
