Upon seeing the title of the video, I had at first thought that you were taking part in Charmouth's yearly 'Competitive Seaglass hunt', which I without a doubt believed would be a thing. Perhaps upon seeing you and Jenny competeting in such, will inspire your fellowmen to step up, thus getting the ball rolling!

@@mikethedigitaldoctorjarvis And there's a village--I think in Wales--where everyone goes on parade around the outskirts of the village carrying a young lad and they bounce his bottom on every rock that delineates the boundaries of the village. That's been going on every year as far back as there are records--to some time in the middle ages, at least.
Rock bouncing, cheese rolling--like you said, why wouldn't beach glass picking-up not also be a thing?

My wife no longer considers amber seaglass a treasure as it is quite common where i fossick, I put it around potted plants as a decoration. Blue is rare and black is hard to find and identify as seaglass, like that dark green you found. The rarest for me is red, I only have one piece.

Lovely to see Jenny in this video. Team Shrimp did an excellent job of picking up seaglass and now I am most interested to see what you make with it. Here in Tasmania, on King Island, they have a glass recycling plant and they turn all of the islands bottles and other glass into a product that is used for mulch. I am guessing you will both come up with a far more interesting way to value add that sea glass. You could always use it to decorate some terracotta pots for future garden use mosaic style. Whatever you both choose to do with your haul, well done on cleaning up the beach :)
