Regarding the bucket- "Now you have to carry it." I loved that! Just what every mum would say. Thank you sooo much for sharing your adventures. My 19-year-old daughter is in lockdown with her father and I miss her very much. Stay safe and healthy.
This reminds me of Geoffrey Chaucer's proverb, "Time and tide wait for no man." In this case not for you ladies either...ha ha ha... What a lovely family outing at the shore and so many delightful goodies you've found too! Now that lovely yellow bucket only needs a couple of holes drilled in the side and a knotted rope added to fix it up nicely. What a handy thing it turned out to be. Loved the Viking boat they are magnificent! I'm glad you had such a lovely day! Thank you so much for sharing it!
So happy to see you again, and Oscar too!! Fleur I thought you didn't look well on the BitsyLark making video. You looked so tired, you look so much better today, well rested. Hope you feel rested too! Always a pleasure to see you all. Am really looking forward to seeing your craft project. I felt a little jealous seeing you and Kate sitting together, like many mums, i miss my kids so much. I'd give everything I owned to sit close to my girls. My arms and heart ache so much. They live in the UK and me and Hubs live in Spain, so it's not like we can pop over and wave at them thru a window. My spirit has been extremely low this week, 59 days of not going out, and at least another 10 weeks I reckon before I can step out the door 😭. So many mums must be going through this awful heartache. But seeing your video this morning has helped lift my mood, so it's back to my easel and paints! See you again soon, (sorry for the whingeing!!) Lots of love from my family to yours. xx Chez in Lliria Valencia Spain xx
Lovely video, the beach was interesting and the atmosphere of the spooky tunnels, I loved the piece of blue coloured glass you found, Bitsy Lark is just perfect! Thank you for the Sunny moment at the end ,take care let's hope we are all out larking around soon xx
Hi there Kit & Caboodlers, Happy Mother’s Day! I just love your videos..your adventures and finds are fun to watch, love the cameo of little Sunny at the end and the music lol..thanks for keeping us entertained ❤️🤗
Happy mother's day Fleur! That certainly was a day for yellow! The small stone sure looked agate like to me. I loved the sea anemone/urchin(?) fossil. Very cool! You didn't show the piece of tartan Kate found. I hope you kept it. I was so looking forward to seeing her make that kilt for Bitsy's mate. Was he a sailor, I believe? Turn him into a Scottish sailor then! God bless, stay safe, and keep up with the great, entertaining, family friendly videos. Tony in Seattle, WA.
Hi great lark with the family ,just to let you know I have a tub like yours ,I broke the handle so my husband drilled 2 holes and threaded rope through and I have my bucket👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 back I use mine for the washing as it’s much bigger than yours but it’s better now and much safer 😂😂. Stay safe we will soon be able to get back to the beaches 🤞🏼
Happy Mother's Day Fleur! I pray that the family are fine and doing well. I enjoyed seeing you ladies having a nice day in the garden. A few interesting finds, as always I'm happy to follow along, thank you. Be safe, be strong, and God Bless all!
Wonderful video,That tunnel was so creepy, but when coming out to other side it was pretty.I love your garden, just sounds so peaceful with the birds.great finds and can't wait to see more of your video.
💐🌻🌼 Happiest of Mother's Day to you Fleur!!! I hope it's a BEAUTIFUL day in the UK for your special day 😁. 🤔Hmm, your white "wobbly" sea creature looked like a type of sea anemone. Thank you Miss Kate for not wanting to injure it🥰😘. Your the best👍!! A true lover of ALL nature 🤗😁. Might be a marine biologist or veterinarian in the making 🤔😉. Thank you for the video... BEAUTIFUL beach!!! 🙏's for the WHOLE family, and Mr. Sunny, too. 🤗🤭😘
A perfect name for your little doll, it fits her a treat. She just needs a pair of long bloomers and a matching dress to be all respectable lol . Your making some wonderful memories for your family and I bet Bitsy is so very happy to join you all.
Thank you! I am trying to think of the best fabric to use for her dress at the moment. It feels like it should be special in some way which is making the choice hard haha :)
Was a lovely walk on the beach with you guys, you have a lovely garden and hearing the sparrows chirping. I'm sure it was a carnelian pebble you found. Keep safe
Hi family, hope all is well in the UK. The beads that don't have holes can be the "bullets" from a airgun. I also find them like everywhere and i had to look it up.
Oh how cool. Whatever became of the yellow bucket? The whole family on a lovely outing! I pray that will be possible again very soon. Thanks for sharing!
Another great video. I love Oscar going thru the puddle. That smile was precious. Kate'hair was really cut in the two pony tails. Have a great day and we will see you in your next video.
It put a smile on my face when you kept the vertebrae, Kate. Most people throw them back, but I say stick on or paint a couple little eyes on it and you have a goofy little member of the mud-larking gang. Kit and Kate, please consider keeping some of the plain pottery pieces that you throw back, would be good to make buttons from, (more options, a place to write words, make a signed pottery tag for the masterpieces you sell or give.) I Love the name you picked for the little gal you made. It's perfect! Maybe someday she will have a sis named Tilly.
Are we boring you Kate??! Lol YAWWWN! I know you are trying something new, but I don't feel like we could see stuff as well....I like when it's all laying together in your little box and we can look at it all close up! That's just me though! Enjoy your outings as always! Hopefully you all will be out and about soon Larking again! Maybe Oscar can detect your garden or yard with his new detector!
I think Kate is suffering from Lockdown fatigue it has a strange way of making you feel lethargic. I feel tired quite often too even though I am not really doing anything :)

You must have been beach combing close to Dover 😁 the chalk cliffs are so beautiful! The stick and bucket finds are awesome! Betsy Lark is so adorable and the video was great! Happy Mother’s Day Fleur! It’s Mother’s Day here in the states 😁 See you soon in the next video!!
Really enjoyed your video. It's lovely to see all your family out together having a lark.I looked up why there would be a tunnel going onto the beach and a few people have said that it was used for people collecting seaweed.X
The creature that wobbled at 12:00 looks like a Snakelocks Anemone (Anemonia Viridis). It's a good job Kate didn't touch it because they do have stinging cells within their tentacles !! Whilst they are not dangerous, they can leave you with a very sore Nettle-type rash or hives..........Ouch!! Xx
Hello! Loving all of your videos! We have lots of similar spongy masses on the south coast around this time but they are various types of gastropod - usually whelk - eggs. They look very similar to anemones but anemomes have skinnier tentacles that always retract as the tide goes out whereas these just flop around! What do you think?
I loved that you did the roundup in the garden. It's beautiful. Please introduce your husband, unless ofcourse you did and I missed it. Thanks for a lovely video.
Back in the 70’s in college (yikes!) when I visited England I took a day trip to France. I took the hovercraft between Dover and Calais. Would that parking lot in the video be where I was to meet the hovercraft? That was the only time I have gotten seasick.
Wonderful video, thank you! You could drill holes in the bottom of your yellow bucket and grow potatoes in them. It would just take one potato and you might get quite a few!
