This unusual looking PS5 controller is designed to make gaming more accessible especially for players with disabilities. You can also use it alongside DualSense controller. Here's the Xbox Adaptive Controller: th-cam.com/video/ie7ad7ZLL74/w-d-xo.html
Disabilities aren't just being able to use one hand. Disabilities vary, and disabled gamers that have things like arthritis, stumps, or other mobility disabilities have tried and tested this and makes a huge difference@@vladdx
As a disabled gamer, this is actually really nice, and has me considering buying a PS five. To be honest though, I’m used to the assessable controller from Xbox. This will definitely be a new learning curve, but maybe it’ll be easier to use than it looks. Definitely want to check this out before I by the system..
I like the idea of solving a problem. Especially when it comes to a disability. Be it a motor function, amputation, or one we can't see. I find it awesome. But I am also glad that you have added more sounds of different objects and materials getting the finger slide.
Besides the actual purpose of those controller: They give me nostalgic oldschool gamepad vibes. Just as you showed the PS: Access Controller seems perfect for retro/arcade games such as Tekken, Doom and all the other ~70s-90s games.
Very kind from Sony to make an adaptive controller for people with disabilities. I'm an adaptive controller user to, but it's for quadriplegics, people that cannot use they're hands. Quadstick is the name of this type of controller and it's only one of it's kind.
It's only a controller for disabled people - being a viable controller that gets to 'round 100' for normal, non impaired individuals is not in the question of its design
@@spacewolf363what if the person with disabled problems was You ? Can You Say the Same if that happen to You ? More respect for the people with true disabled problems , My god Your comentary
You always making amazing unboxing videos but this time is special for people with disabilities, they will be happy to know about this Access controller!
I would like a controller that has no right thumb, but instead a touch sensor that reads your swipes. I suck at aiming with a controller joy stick, but am amazing with a touch sensor
I lost the ability of moving my fingers due to an accident, but i can move both arms and wrist, does anybody know if i could use this controller anyways?
Wanna use it as a shifter for GT7 instead of H shifter, so I could use steering wheel and that thing while if I put VR on and driving manual gear cars. Could i..?
This is what I really called inclusion, very good on Sony's part, let's hope that this control allows players with disabilities to play the games they love.
I'm sorry but the endless clicking of that controller would drive me loopy. I have a cousin who is autistic and destroys controllers REGULARLY. I imagine this being thrown by him would kill someone, he could throw a cushion at you and injure you. He actually destroyed a large aquarium in his parents living room raging because the battery ran low in his PS4 controller and he threw the controller. The aquarium exploded and the living room was soaked, the fish were saved though. You HAVE to let him win at EVERY game or he will attack you, I mean claws out attack.... he's 15 btw. He's gone through so many consoles and TV's it's ridiculous. This would be a weapon in his hands. His parents enable his behavior.
first thing i thought when seeing these is the potential for fighting games tho i know how adaptive they can be but i still wonder how easy it would be to assemble and use for a disabled person

This looks like what I see when I Google ps5 controller, but back in 2008.
This seems like a portable controller for fighting games on arcade
It can be used for many things but it's intended for people with arm deformities.

Exactly what it’s designed for! You can also connect floor pedals and press buttons with your feet if that helps.
