  • Scalar Control and Vector Control Mode are the two VFD Control Modes deployed in various applications encountered in industries which ensures better efficiency of motor and power saving as well. @Instrumentation Unlimited
    VFDs have been there in industries for quite a long time for control and power-saving purposes. Right control methods selection and configuration of VFDs ensure efficient operation of motors and promise reduced downtime. This video explains control methods employed in various applications found in any industry. Kindly post comments or any query you encounter during the video on dineshdiwani@gmail.com

    Sir VFD ke input current and out put current me defrence kyu hota he jabki starter me nhi hota ?

    • @dineshdiwani
      @dineshdiwani  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Vfd output supply voltage below 50 Hz is below the line voltage so to fulfill condition of Pin=Pout the output current must be higher than the input. If we consider 50% speed the output voltage will be half but output current will be double to fulfill Pin=Pout condition. Some losses occurs in vfd so output current is slightly less than double of inout current.

    pulsed dc how can be converted to sine wave please explain

    • @dineshdiwani
      @dineshdiwani  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      These pulses are passed through a windings of motor which are an inductor. As we know an inductor opposes any current change. The moment inductor saw a pulse it retards sudden current change. When dc pulses of varying width is passed through winding... A sine wave appears across its winding

      @@dineshdiwani and sir you have talked about 200 torque with no rpm is it magnetic locking = cogging

    • @dineshdiwani
      @dineshdiwani  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@workbyvivek6557 that is the condition when vfd is operated in vf mode with frequency at zero and rated voltage is applied. But in vector control two diffrent imaginary vectors contros magnetizing current and torque producing componet separately. In that case motor is actually running at 0 rpm with full torque.

    Sir motor name plate
    400volt 6000rpm 104hz me he
    Vfd per chlane per frequency 55 se uper nahi jyati
    Vfd me fd mode set ker rakha he kya problem ho sakti he sir

    • @dineshdiwani
      @dineshdiwani  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@satishpawar110 then no issue it will deliver output at 104 hz maximum... You specifically told it is delivering output at 55 hz... I think this setting is lock in setting menu. Check again. Or check motor data if it is has been feed correctly.
