One of the most poignant, emotional and greatest speeches I have ever heard. RIP President Reagan. A true patriot.

Thank you Ronald Reagan. The best U.S. President of my lifetime. 80th Anniversary of D-Day. Not many of these brave warriors are left. Let's remember their sacrifice the common goal to achieve a better world free of despots to allow people to live free and whole.

I was part of the 50th Anniversary of D Day, whilst serving on HMS Fearless, next month will be the 80th, so few left now. 😢

That speech was one of the greatest I've ever heard, it came right from deep inside his heart, his voice was faltering at the end only because he really cared about what happened on D-Day.

On the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, I am saddened that America has fallen so far in the past 4 decades.

Watching this speech on the 77th anniversary of D-Day. Time has not diminished the meaning of this great accomplishment nor lessened the anguish of those who gave their lives for the freedom of future generations. May God continue to bless everyone who was involved.

I served in the Army under 6 Commander’s In Chief. Then 3 more as a defense contractor in war zones. Had the distinct privilege of saluting the last living 5 star General at that time, Gen. Omar Bradley, who commanded the forces on D Day. Ronald Reagan was the President that under whose leadership, made me the proudest.

I was 28 years old when President Reagan was elected. He was like a breath of fresh air. For me he is the gold standard I will always use to judge our commanders-in- chief. He was a true American treasure.

This is a tear-jerker of a speech. President Reagan was right; a survivor of D-Day said it better than any president could. God Bless you President Reagan.

My God, what a speech. I so long to have a leader like that man. Today is June 7th 2024, We are adrift led my corrupt incompetent fools. We owe these men more than that.

A man like this will never pass this way again and that is very sad for our country.

I was too young and working my first job to recognize the significance of this. At the time, 40 years seems such a incomprehensible long period of time.
