I am not a foodie, but I really like nanning the city, I still remember the south lake park, nicely designed, why can't we have parks like that in Canada???😂😂😂😂😂. Love from Canada.
I mean, if we don't appropriate any culture, then all we can do is wood trails over wood railings, and if we don't maintain that well enough, then it'll look run-down in no time. And we don't maintain them well enough.
Great video, Nanning is a wonderful city and probably the best night life, the street food is great, my favourite is the squid skewers, and I recommend ice cream coffee.
My boyfriend is from here, i wanna go so bad 😭😭 most of the Chinese food in my city in the US are from sichuan, yunnan, fujian, and guangdong. there’s 7 chongqing style hotpot restauranrs but all i want is to try guangzi food lol
That is quite the variety! In the UK you can barely find anything that isn't Cantonese. Nanning was really interesting I would recommend going if you get a chance!
While in Jiangmen, an Australian friend asked if I wanted to go with him to Nanning on a bus, 10 hours away. After remembering taking a short bus ride previously, I politely declined the invitation. Those buses can get crowded!!!
I was lucky enough to live in Nanning for 4 years after being a Guangzhou ren for 2 years. But Nanning vibe is totally different and by far the best place ❤
Thanks to Nikki for sharing Nanning's interesting and delicious street foods! 😊😋 Oh! And that crispy pork you are talking about we also have here and we called it 'Pork Chicharon' and it's served with a vinegar dipping sauce on the side. Crunch, crunch! Also the Crispy Basil with spicy powder, we also have our own version and we called it 'Kangkong Chips' (Kangkong is a water spinach leaves) coated with an egg and flour batter but no chili powder on it. I am starting to get hungry after seeing this video haha! Thanks Nico and Jack also to Nikki! 😋😊 Happy Monday guys! 😊
Not sure if I'd like the chili infused fruits but the dessert I can take. Already a subscriber of nikki. I think we have a different version of the drink that looks like worms here. But it's totally different thing. Oh, and the worms here are green.
isn't the "wormy" thing the same as something like rice paste or starchy paste and put it into the thing that literally a ladle but with holes and let them drop into water? it's called "凉虾" as I remember, you can search this on TH-cam tho, should be the same thing I guess...?
Yes🎉🎉🎉
Only if we had more time! Next time when you guys in Nanning we’re going on a wild food hunt!
i'm a guy whose alma mater is GX University subscribed u! ♥

I spent 13 years in Nanning. Loved it there.
Hi Ron I have just clocked up 13 years in Nanning.
How do you guys even get jobs there?
Nikki’s recommendations are really interesting, even from a Chinese point of view 😊
Nico Nico Nico it's so fun watching your videos... and hungry

Great video love to see China
5:42, the sauce is called “黄皮酱”, made from skeels fruit, which is my favorite. Taste sour and sweet, good for summer climate.
Fantastic video
the sweet sauce is 黄皮果酱.
Oh, Nikki's cool!

Guanxi known for rice noodles
I remembered some only 3rmb
I also like Jung, sticky rice, pork, salt egg wrapped in leaves
bigger version of tamale/
👍👍👍👍👍👍
I think the secret ingredient is fermented tofu. That would add some protein to the noodle. 7:51

大南宁欢迎你们再来
9:22 seems very similar to Mexican food combinations ... This video was very interesting :D

Pork Scratchings in the UK, Baken-Ets in the US
@6:00 You guys mean 黄皮酱?
Clausena excavata is the fruit, it doesn't have a specific common name.......

nikki the pretty!
Guangxi food looks like Vietnamese cuisine. Maybe because they are all Southeast Asians.
Haven't heard the word "piff" in time! #NottsGirl
water chestnuts are more common in Guangdong and Guangxi
下次还要喊这个小改改出去吗,好欢乐XD
Nikki is pretty. hehe
Was that "wampi sauce"? Made from the wampi fruit.
What is wampi??
Search for it, Wampi or Wampee is a sweet-sour fruit from a tree
So I guess Bo Nuong La Lop 7:32 came from China 🐇
really similar to Vietnam food
