As a Wuhaner, I've never visited the Yellow Crane Tower again after it started charging since the 90s. Its a re-build and all authentic works in that tower were burned to ash already. Instead, I'd recommand the East Lake and Mo-Mountain resorts, which is totally free but unique in urban area.

So if a foreigner without such backgrounds, it is unlikely they would enjoy as much as Chinese do. For example, at least 50% knows the famous poetry, 故人西辞黄鹤楼 （last three characters means the tower）, 烟花三月下扬州，孤帆远影碧空尽，唯见长江天际流。It was written in 730 AD, it is a poerry about Spring, friendship, farewell, and . By visiting this place, those Chinese with these poetry background knowledge feel deeply connected to its past and its ancient culture. But for someone without such a background, yes, it is just a tower.
strongly recommend go to the 东湖公园 and bike there, you will not regret! must go there in the early morning when it is not so hot! you can also have local dishes at 小明大排档, totally affordable and typical wuhan vibe!

The people were super friendly in Wuhan, especially at the tower we didn't have a moment to ourselves. No we went back in the Autumn for 6 weeks and have been releasing videos since then. But... this week will be our last video then we will have ran out of content, unfortunately. We had hoped to go back in the spring but it didn't happen.
I appreciate your honesty. The Yellow Crane Tower is a modern man-made attraction. The original tower from ancient times has long been destroyed, and the current structure was rebuilt using steel and concrete in 1985.
Haha, got it! But based on my experience, I still want to recommend it. This is a game that requires two people to each control a character to play. During my wife’s pregnancy, I played this game with her when she was feeling quite bored, and it completely changed her perspective on gaming 😄

Oh yeah the UK is a lot more expensive generally but I am comparing this with other attractions in China. The Forbidden City for example is only ¥40 and is a huge complex so I think the price is quite high in comparison.
I know it's delicious, but where are the table manners?? lol well, who cares. Anyway, lots of Wu Han restaurants open around the country, I will probably have it next time in Shanghai. Wish she recover soon!

黄鹤楼票价真的有点太贵了。I am a local wuhanese, the yellow crane tower is really pricy for 70yuan. And it's not a must do that I'll recommend for foreign tourist
To go into the Yellowcrane Tower used to be free in the past. And I had been there twice, the first being in 1987 and another some12 years ago!
I wonder when they changed it.
