Mine has never smoked like that. You're running very rich. In the advanced menu you need to either cut back fuel or increase fan speed. That is building up massive soot inside. Over priming may be the issue...

I have a new very similar un it. I had a little smoke at start up that I suspect was caused by overpriming. You must have understanding neighbors....I hope these things work out!

Just bought a similar unit- ordered the same as this but a variant arrived!! I was worried about the exhaust at the exit and your video proved the seal with the attachments they provide is not adequate for use. I will make some adjustments before installing.

Check your settings, dont over prime. Mine never smoked like that on its first run but I made sure it was set up and primed right. Now it's hardly any smoke and runs great

You Made A Gigantic Mistake.. NEVER USE RED DIESEL IN ANY HEATER.. Red Diesel Is Used For Farm Tractors And Large Machinery That Can Handle It.. It's Even Against The Law To Use Red Diesel In Trucks And Tractor Trailers.. You Shouldn't Even Use Diesel That's Used For Tractor Trailers And Trucks.. Because Of The Engine Design.. You Should Only Use Diesel That Is Formulated For Passenger Vehicles..
That Diesel Is Formulated To Make Less Or No Smoke Exhaust? And, To Keep The Engine Running Smooth.. I Know You're Looking For The Least Expensive Way To Use Your Heater? But Using That Cheap Thick Red Diesel? Will Destroy Your Heater.. Red Diesel Will Even Destroy The Engine In A Car In Time.. Consider This Lesson Learned.. Jus Sayin.. Yep...

@@ramonpen2592 Well I Just Got My Diesel Heater This Afternoon From FEDEX.. And, The One Thing I'm NOT Going To Do Is Use Red Diesel.. However.. If You Don't Mind The Exhaust Coming Out, And The Neighbors Don't Mind? Feel Free To Use Red Diesel.. To Each Their Own... Jus Sayin.. Yep...

Different countries probably have different red diesel formulations.
Here in the UK it is pretty much identical to white diesel, apart from the dye. It exists here as it has a far lower tax on it and is strictly for off road use. Hence the dye is there to pick up those using it illegally on the road.
Modern farm machinery have the same common rail technology as road vehicles. Likewise DPF and SCR filters. So high sulphur fuel will cause harm to farm machinery too. Not least that machinery is substantially more expensive than most cars and farmers won't want it damaged!

@@sic- dyed diesel here in Canada is exactly the same as clear ULSD, just less tax. Furnace oil is dyed ULSD too.
