Same. I don't even think I'd play if it became f2p either because they would probably just make the game more pay to win and the grind would be more time consuming. It's just not worth grinding and spending money on a build that I won't even be able to go back to if I wanted to in a couple years. You have to do so much just to be able to play how you want to and with the city and everything it's just too much. Good games don't feel like chores.

2k started marketing toward the young kids, like who is wearing scuba gear on a court, emotes walking/running around, did they make money yes, but over time they lost a large percentage of their fan base with sub par gameplay, every game you load up and play it’s the same gameplay, same tats, outfits etc etc, after 10 years of this bs I’ll find something else to do with my time and money.

FACTS! Regular players weren’t even given a chance to make it and it’s a lot of really good casuals better than some 2k league players but never got a chance…I’m glad get rid of it

I really wanted to jump on NBALIVE but it's been out so long i don't see the point.
Had to cut back, so I recently started buying NBA2K every "OTHER" year. I have 2K23 (PS5) and planned on getting 2k25 this year.
In regards to the 2KLeague. I think it will succeed if the Franchises gave out decent 1 or 2 year contracts for players. Keep it short, and well paid so that more people will have an invested interest.
Retire all current players. Perhaps consider some of them for future "Hall of fame" events.

Gameplay is always great until the first or second patch im waiting for season 3-4 before i decide they got me this year...everybody was talking about it played like 2k20 when 2k24 dropped ..its the first 2k i havent pre ordered since 2k19 1 week in i picked it up... Then they dropped the 1st patch making it sound like it was going to be great with promised greens ...it was in fact trash... Why is mike wang talking about nerfing us shooters keeping us under 50% from 3... When they got lil timmy with a 87 driving dunk consistently dunking on 3 defenders ..meanwhile i cant get a wide open corner 3 to fall.... Gameplay is at an all time low..
Theres no point in pre-ordering. Your Day 1 build isnt gonna be your build. On top of that the game comes out like 2 months before the season starts.

Preorders don’t matter anymore in a digital age. U use to preorder so the games wouldn’t sell out and you’d for sure get a copy upon release. When u have digital PS5 & Xbox, we don’t need a preorder because we won’t miss out.

I never spend more than what I paid to purchase the game. I wait until it's 50-75% off around christmas as well. That way, I get the game at a fair price (because it's just a reskin every year), and I know what builds are viable, so I dont grind out a build from day 1, and it's borderline unusable (happened to me in 2K20).
