Anyone with an email address should know this tbh. They simply won’t let you create an address with existing letter combinations by just putting an uppercase in there.

@@RisingRevengeanceIt’s beyond me, really… I don’t understand what I did that made them take a stand to BAN me entirely, especially after all I’ve done for E2 in the past. They effectively turn their supporters against them this way… It is very hard to feel that I can defend them after all this, because their actions doesn’t make any sense. They say they care for the people and that they are aiming to build “the people’s metaverse” while banning the people who care the most.
E2 was my place to be for 4 years. They just ripped that away from me with no care in the world for how that would hurt me, proving the haters right in the progress….. I’ve always been defending them saying E2 would NEVER silence their community and only do it to people who had ill intents. I feel extremely stupid now….
That thing with voluntarily invalidating their regulatory status really feels like an "Oh crap, we can't actually pay people" type thing.
The withdrawal limits and crypto rugpull only confirm the suspicion.
A 5k/day per person withdrawal limit could easily be justified by just saying something like "There's a lot of fraud online, we want to make sure the high rollers can't be wiped out by one slip up in their security without impacting on regular users too much" since 5k is more than most people have but is a number that a company as large and successful as E2 is *supposed* to be could reimburse in the event of a problem without major trouble.
So Earth 2 combat is revealed and it seriously looks like an unreal engine demo pack
The real Earth 2 combat is the rush to hit buttons to get their money. That is where the real PvP is.

The 5K for everyone limit pretty much confirms they don't have enough money to meet demand. So they are likely using Peter to pay Paul. The 5k is likely a % of their average daily intake currently.
They're always been operating like a Ponzi scheme, the house of cards was always going to fall it was just a matter of time. Maybe if they could have produced some kind of product they could have prevented it but they never had the means or drive to actually make anything in the first place. All the money in the world can't buy you Success you still have to have competent people who know what they're doing with proper check and balances. Concord is an example of all the money in the world, competent enough to make some kind of product but no checks and balances to make sure the product was actually quality.
it's small enough that people who get money out could just as well be the company itself only. it's a theoretical route to get money out, to say there's a route.

"Navmesh" being new? I... played with the Neverwinter Nights game engine a bit and that had some basic navmesh and whatnot, and that was in 2002. I really hate how "techbros" seem to be the least tech-savvy people around.
It's the Star Citizen 'community engagement' model. Claim that you need the money to invent some amazing new tech and we're all on the journey together, when in reality you made a bunch of stupid decisions early on and your devteam are desperately playing catchup with the rest of the industry. Star Citizen literally tried telling people that nested asset loading (a basic tool for most engines) needed three years of dev time. Oh and 'server meshing'. Which is STILL not a thing.
They're going to mismanage this hard enough to end up in prison

It's very clear that the game designers are just adding things in that seem cool rather than having an overall plan. Is the game based on economy or exploration? Are we meant to control a human character or is this more like Sim City? I might just be out of the loop but the trailers ought to help the viewer understand what the game is really about.
It's so difficult to feel sorry for anyone who is JUST NOW getting an uneasy feeling about this project.
This is like saying "I have a blank canvas open in Microsoft Paint, selling 1 pixel of space for $100" no one cares because your Microsoft Paint file is worthless and does not represent value in anything real or tangible in the real world.

There's probably a bunch of dirty money invested into the project. If they just straight up rug pull or close up shop, it's possible that there would be some really angry criminal groups going after them and they aren't exactly anonymous. Stuck between a rock and a hard place.

Them keeping the money and doing nothing? That was evident from the day the project started.
Despite being an "Investor" I was banned from the facebook group for merely pointing out how ridiculous the current withdrawal situation is, the "game" and community supporting it are a joke
This is why people tried to point out from the get go that this was not something to put your money in. Only the people who got in early and tricked others into also doing it made any money. Because those were people playing that risky game of trying to get in and out before it all crashed to the ground. It was a giant scam from the start. I hope you didn't spend any more than you could afford to have set on fire for entertainment. Best of luck in getting back out whole.

@@ram89572 Oh yeah, to be honest I only invested what i would typically be willingly spend on a computer game, around $100, so its no big deal at all, I was only interested in the gaming aspect of the project not the money making. The project goes from one embarrassment to another, there used to be tons of zealots/shills in the community but its literally fallen to the same dozen or so people defending it lol

Navmesh a revolutionary tech? HAHAHAHA. It exist since early 2000 in video games, and the logic itself was there since the 80's.
Hell, I know about nav meshes because it's a fairly common bug in mods for Bethesda games that someone accidentally breaks NPC nav pathing.
Doom (1993) uses nav meshes since the levels are basically built as a graph of 2d polygon zones
And modern engines will do 99% of the work for you with just a couple clicks. There's always stairs, ramps, and sharp corners to clean up, but geez, this is about as basic as working with a 3d engine gets.

I think some people just aren't cut out to lead a game studio. Hell, I'm probably one of them. If you know you struggle finishing projects, don't ask for people's money. Especially when your project is literally of planetary scale!

Every clips shown in background looks like they come from different games/asset packs with nothing linking them together clearly people never bought in it for any kind of game related content.

Don't get me wrong, I make mods for games and sometimes I say "hey I am probably doing this thing" and somtimes, I don't have the time to do exactly what I say. The difference is that I don't expect people to give me money.
If I asked for money every time I had a game idea I'd be a serial scammer too 😂 Some people are just bad at finishing big projects. There's nothing wrong with that provided you don't take any money, or give everyone a refund. (Better to not take the money to begin with). Seems like Shane has dug himself a pit he can't escape from.
Short answer is, if you have 4K to blow on this then you get no sympathy. If you have 300K to blow on this, then you know what you were trying to do and got rugged yourself.

Before Shane claims that a GLOBAL navmesh is revolutionary, we made a global navmesh for a military FPS several years ago (based on a more precise level of real-world data than Earth2 is using). Worked pretty well too, it was dynamic for buildings being destroyed, etc.

It baffles me that you'd buy virtual land in a metaverse. If you can't teleport you're tied down and won't see much of it, and if you can then there's almost no prime real estate.
I think you've overlooked an important factor in all of this:
Earth 2 is doing a valuable community service.
Consider how much damage the room temperature IQs that bought into this could have done with the money otherwise.
Lets be real. The incompetency was there from day 1 if you have coosen to not see it you are on your own. Now comes the ice berg and this ship will sink fast.
People with "assets" in the game should get themselves a lawyer really quick and try to get their money out before the company folds and everything is gone.

These guys must be time wizards to have 'invented' navmesh, something that has been around sense the 1980's. It's how early robotics got around. Though in games its been a thing sense the late 90's when 3d games started to take off that didn't have enemies and the player on a set path.
