These buyers were not easy clients for Phil and Kirstie and while they clearly love their beautiful house and property I seem quite self-congratulatory over their find. The bit that bothers me is that they seemed to give very little credit for Phil and Kirstie's patience, perseverance and incredibly creativity in finding this prize for them. So I'll say it instead: "Good job you two, very well done indeed!"

On the re-visit, I think they could have been a little more gracious and appreciative of the former owners and the work Phil and Kirstie did to secure it for them. Frankly, I got a wee bit of pleasure when she said she was stressed beyond belief. She deserved the all the stress because she brought it upon herself.

The one thing I Love is that bungalows are so rare that this property and land and the outbuildings are worth a cool 1.2 today...imagine! They may have been a tough couple but I also adore bungalows and hate
two-story 5 or 4-bed room homes. I just prefer. Amazing find and I too would grow old with those uninterrupted views, all of it was worth the large mortgage to attain the dream of a family home that they can grow old together in. Well done Phil and Kirstie you played a true blinder while still keeping cool, and grounded, you are both true professionals.

There's a lot about this show where we, the viewers, don't ever get what the house hunters are looking for. I guess it's supposed to create drama, but watching people pooh-pooh perfectly fabulous houses without saying why makes me want to reach in and smack them. What the heck are you looking for? I love this show, don't get me wrong, but it's mostly for the patience and skill of Kirstie and Phil. I rarely ever like the house hunters because I feel like they are mostly going in with a "let's be as difficult as possible" attitude.

Sure, Phil and Kirstie had a huge success here, but so did the clients. As annoying and off-putting as their personalities were (sometimes I wondered how they could stand each other!), they held out for what they truly wanted. They put in the sweat equity and they achieved a home they never want to leave. Perfectionists are often annoying, but they often get want they want!

I know it was a listed building but maybe for medical purposes- you could get around the requirements? also- the children will growup fast and she has been througt he worst of it w the youngest child- I think? just lucky after a lot of trouble finding the house- they should thank the stars every day !
