That doesn't seem fair. The rust was 100% my fault and I have had no issues since that video was posted. One thing I will whine about it the cover. It is horrible. The sun destroys it in 1 season and it is too easy to rip holes in it on the sharp corners on the griddle. Thanks for reaching out!
thank you for this, you saved my mines from the garbage.
good upload Bill B. I broke that thumbs up on your video. Keep on up the terrific work.
Thanks for the nice comment!
You did it in 20 min others take a lot longer how was the taste
No odd taste. I really need to learn how to take better care of it though. :)
What do you have in the back of t to griddle to despost of the oil
There is a small removable grease trap. Small is the key word and I need to modify it someday.
What temperature should I put it at while applying the oil
Thanks for asking. I scraped all the loose stuff off then turned the heat on high when I started using the oil.
Doesnt really matter as it will heat up quite fast

@@boehmb no not you . The brand is general is getting tons of bad reviews on rust. All over home Depot and Amazon reviews
@@WisconsinMoparEnthusiasts I didn't take it that way, all good here.
Looks close to the railing Bro.
Obviously it rusted because you never seasoned it.
Try properly seasoning the griddle and it won't rust on you.
Yep, that was it. It looks a lot better this spring. It sure was rough that day though! Thanks for watching.
