Yu-Gi-Oh Cards like Maxx "C"

For us Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel players, Maxx "C" is the ever present boogeyman. So what if we tried to replica its power? Konami has taken a few swings at a weaker Maxx "C", from handtraps to quick play spells. Just know these cards won't be making the forbidden and limited list either.

it's literally every game these days, everyone opens with Maxx C or droll or three other hand traps, I can't remember the last time I saw a full yogioh combo happen.

In Master a truly full combo will result to SHS FTK, Branded Gimmick Puppet Lock, or whatever Mathmech endboard is.

People used to complain about how modern yugioh is just whoever goes first playing solitaire for 10 minutes.
Now people are whining that the game has plenty of interaction and you don't just sit there watching your opponent play solitaire for 10 minutes.
Yugioh players are determined to be miserable no matter what.

Considering it's also a hand trap that draws cards from your opponent summoning, I think Phantazmay does a pretty decent Maxx "C" impression

Reminds me of the time someone used Maxx c and drill and lock bird in the same turn in master duel
I did extra special summons just to flex on them and their mistake

​@@Bruham2it really isn't, the only time you would droll after using Maxx C is if your opponent is in a position where they are decking you out/attempting an FTK or you hse droll as bait for called by or to still end their turn so even jf you're bricked eith hand traps you have Maxx C for next turn.

droll is the type of card which is only good in broken situation. fair(ish) decks an ash is good enough while non fair(ish) decks the droll is needed. its a clear symptom that droll see regular ish use that yugioh has issues

The net positive on Maxx c is always an up.
If it works and they don't stop. Boom your turn you will have so many resources to play.
If it goes off once you stop them from making a strong board with no downside.
If they block it. They are down one resource they can use later.
Aside the normal summon deck it's hard to find a time to not use it. I even find use on my opponents turn to dare them to summon a monster while I go for game.
