I love being alone but people think I'm weird because I'm like this! I just enjoy solitude and when I'm at work it's definitely draining to be around all those people. I really have to put on a act to try to be social and its definitely draining

These introvert 'types' seem to be governed by other elements you see in MBTI. Like introverts who still socialise (E). Introverts who are deep in thought (T). Introverts who are anxious (F) and the introvert that socialises but says little (More S).
Some introverts are inhibited (F). Some have better more interesting things than extroversion (T). Some just don't have the attributes to be extroverted (S) and some have innate tendencies towards extroversion but (imho) have a nervous system that gets over stimulated and tired through interaction (E).

The guy I'm dating is an extrovert and I'm an introvert. I try to explain that I don't enjoy talking on the phone daily and he thinks it's no big deal. The energy it drains from me is hard to explain. I also enjoy going out with my friends to do something but don't want daily contact. It's weird but it's me. I think I need an introduction card with my name and "introvert" printed on it.
I understand, Maureen! And sometimes when we are social people have a difficult time understanding we are also introverted. Thank you for commenting

I'm mostly a thinking introvert with elements of the other three at times. In the past I have concentrated too much on the words people use and with small talk the exact words are not as important.

I asked an introvert out on video to make it easier for her, she seen it but she didn’t reply but she still talks to me. Sometimes I think she forgot about it. or can’t remember. Plus I don’t wanna remind her cause I would be and sound desperate. So I don’t wanna mention it.
No. It's something I'd never do. Never will do FaceTime. Best to ask us to go for a coffee. Something we can do and leave in a short amount of time if we feel awkward. Awkward is sort of our middle name.
@@maureenc1284 sadly I couldn’t ask her out in person and I wanted to I mention I wanna talk to her 4 times and she said she forgot, and she knew I was gonna ask her out and said are you trying to ask me out so that’s when I sent the video but I still feel bad about it cause I wanted to ask her in person. And she was really busy so I couldn’t have or find time for her. So did it on vid on snap.
The fact that she is still maintaining communication is a good sign. Yes, I agree, no need to mention the video to her. :)
@@AntoinetteGriffinI feel bad I did that, I really wanted to ask in her in person but she, caught on about it I’m like she already knows so that’s when I sent the snap. But I know she once told me that if someone asked her out in person she would avoid. But I did it in video cause to make it easier for her cause i think I wouldn’t be pressuring her to say yes or no if done in person.But she is my best friend, and so she still will hangouts with me and talks that’s why I think she probably forgot but I did talk to my therapist she said she wouldn’t forget that. You bet! It seems like many of us are a mix of all four. You may see yourself weighted more in one or two, however.
