I had a z nuke that wasn't as overstable as the person who sold it to me said it was. I put it in the oven for a few minutes and it became totally flat on top and the rim twisted up so it was basically a 13 speed tilt. It was OK to throw, but not much more overstable than my ape and a flat boss. I might try it again at some point but just be much quicker and splash out into cold water to just make discs more overstable in increments. However, the heat contracts the plastic so you don't get the domey overstability. The way to get discs to be domier would be to have the shape of the dome in a separate two part mold, heat the flight plate only on a frying pan or something on a very low heat and then put it in the mold, clamp hard and then put the whole thing in cold water. I should probably just have bought a nuke os but my old nuke was an overstable and domey wind fighting bomber and I can't afford to keep buying discs hoping to find the same one..
I want to see how much impact each of your scientific adjustments made. It would be fun to see how understable the disc gets with just the shaving down and just the flamin.
i like to put my disc occasionally in dryer and it really worked it made an AWESOME hyzer flip to sloooooow turn over right and if given enough height it will fade back left at end super dope flight even a great hyzer flip to roller if throw low!
Dryer definitely works just hard to know when to stop. I need to put my new sidewinder in the dryer it's flying like my vulture but with more glide. Still super under stable on 4hand just like a glow envy.
I bet it was the alteration to the bottom that made it flippy since you changed the flight plane...love it! That was oddly satisfying to watch you mess up a Nuke OS 😂
Didn't catch it being said, but I did quick scroll the video. Modifying a disc in any way like this makes it an illegal disc to play with during any sanctioned event or tournament.
I don’t even know what discs are in that warehouse and I can tell you the nuke OS didn’t break the top 10 for over stability. I’m not even sure any of the top 10 are distance drivers…
i would get a pot that is close to the same diameter than the disc, not bigger, so you can boil water in it. put another pot on top of the rim and let it heat until flat on the bottom bevel. Just a guess but this would be my first attempt
I throw the nuke os alot. Even beat in they are in no way flippy. yes you can modify the disc to make it less stable but what's the point? If you modify the disc it makes it illegal to use per pdga rules, since you cannot modify a disc in any way. The best way to throw the nuke os is with alot of power and arm speed and releasing it on an extreme anhyzer angle. It will flip slightly but will always fight back and finish stable.
It would be better if you have more confidence in your videos, the process becomes underwhelming when you're taking back the clickbait premise at each stage of your process. I would go: Can we make any disc understable? Lets try the most overstable disc we can find. Here's the new search engine. Now we have a Nuke OS; What can we do to it? Research how and try different ways. What did we learn? The end. Don't start with: We will do it with science, then know nothing, cant even measure, barely keep the original shape, and lose it in the end. Focus on learning or being uplifting rather than self depricating.
How hard do you think it would be to turn a understable disc into an overstable disc? Might be worth a try👀
sounds groovy

I bet anyone can overturn a Nuke SS, if you'd get that overstable I'd be surprised
You could but I think you'd lose glide
Introducing: the new discraft Nuke BS
Nuke us
You are the first disc seller ever to implement searching for discs by weight.
I want to see how much impact each of your scientific adjustments made. It would be fun to see how understable the disc gets with just the shaving down and just the flamin.
That disc would be awesome for a bag swap challenge. We’re your buddy grabs what is supposed to be an over stable driver. Lol
Seriously 😂

I’ve used the dryer trick on a few destroyers throughout my days for sure

I have another disc in mind😎
@@Infinitediscs Zone OS 😏
Use the dryer method, it works. Took a disc I couldn’t get to turn at all and now it’s a roller.
Oh hey, Infinite followed my advice about showcasing their website for its disc selection capabilities, lol.
One of the science videos of all time.
That last throw was literally just the disc trying to escape after all the abuse it went through 😂
It almost got away to!
Calling the girlfriend is an all time move 👍🏼
thank you for the not usual content! good stuff
Didn't catch it being said, but I did quick scroll the video.

How about the Nuke SUS (Super Under Stable)
This better be called Nuke SUS as in super understable 😂
MVP Energy is much more OS than a Nuke OS!
I’ll have to check it out!
great video]
Id call it the Nuke AF
This is the correct answer😂 you’re a genius
That Nuke OS has waaayyyy more done than the one I have from 2009
Fun idea for a video ❤️🤘
Thank you! I love the channel it is very inspirational for me🤝

Lucky no mountain men were at the Fort that day. HaHa! That OS now identifies as a roller disc.
Go Birds!
The duke no-s
Now make a super flippy disc insanely over stable
That’s the goal! That one is going to be a serious challenge
Will it still be PDGA appr. if you make such changes?
In a perfect world yes. But no. That would be crazy😂
What did I just watch? Why am I irrationally angry?? Which of my discs am I going to try this on???

I like that!
I’d just try dry weight over a period of a week pushing the plh down. Don’t want to risk a change to the structural integrity of the plastic much.
@@EthanJLongoria I figure it’s already going to be illegal for PDGA use, so why not just give it the best chance of success?
Could call it the nuke md, (modified disc). Then read the rule book. Look up illegal disc.
Illegal for sure but still fun
Was that Brodie on the phone?
Sadly no
Here to wreck you in the comments… Jk this is funny😂
Let’s go!
try to throw an Innova Ape..
That was the first disc i ever bought. I blame disc golf marketing. Had a terrible time playing when i first started
metal flake MAX
gLiTtEr MAX
it literally went from 13/4/0/4 to 13/4/-4/0
still less stable than a tilt, stego, or frag
I might have to do a tilt! I tried to do with drivers in this one but a tilt would be insane

She’s a great dog
