After many a glow season, the best night golf is played with an LED light taped to the bottom of the disc with quality tape (Gorilla Tape, Crystal Clear Repair), taped to a flourescent disc. If the light goes out or flies off (not likely with that Gorilla tape), you can easily locate them with a good blacklight flashlight.
Bought the Leopard 3 and used it at night last weekend and its a great glow plastic. First year i didn't use lights taped to the disc because the glow plastic is so much better then it used to be.
I'm amazed how many people have this backwards... You were in daylight savings during the summer. When the clocks fall back is STANDARD time, aka the correct time, when the sun reaches its apex at noon. When we spring forward, that's when we START daylight savings time.
1) I have a Glow Berg, can confirm it's not great 2) Old Innova is also bad. Playing on dark night in the woods though, you can still find them 3) Should we be using our phones to find our discs during glow rounds?
That’s crazy my Kastaplast glow for days. But I do have older discs from them. MVP glows in your bag on a cloudy day with no charge. How is there stuff so much better particularly better than new Proto glow? Curious I made this comment with 8 minutes remaining on test
He probably used the 2023 batch of glow that Kasta told everyone wasn't as good. Most sites have it discounted so this maybe isn't an accurate representation
Strange for me my new Zone in seasonal glow underperformed vs MVP and my Gorgon in new proto color glow. It was super bright to start but faded faster. Not to say it’s bad- it’s way better than DX glow, old champ glow and the new nexus proto glow. I wonder if some just have a slightly different blend of glow in the dark pellets 🤷♂️
Kastaplast has runs of discs that glow great and other not so much, even before house of discs. MVP is brighter and last longer than anyone, Proto glow - new discmania glow and new discraft and really good.
I have a few Kastaplast glow disc and there are definitely differences. 2023 K1 glow, sucks 2023 K3 glow, better but still not good 2024 K1 soft glow, almost on par with eclipse 2.0
My favorite test is which ones don't even need purple light. Just regular light bulbs in a room. Lights off, BRIGHT! The best with that goes to Color Glow Sexton Firebird 2023, oddly enough. But Kastaplast does well too. Shocked to see the kastaplast glow suck on this video. My Svea glow is 2023 and it's ALWAYS glowing. Even in daytime. Odd
New Discmania is really good, New RPM is not bad - better than the old West Side/Trilogy is pretty good Old Innova is only good for about three or four minutes Mvp is mvp Lone Star good Kastaplast circa 2019 is great, new is meh, still gotta bag a berg. Kraftex glow vinyl is really good (I put bits of it on my shittier glow discs), perfect for base plastic stuff that don't come in glow. On par with Firefly stickers. Yes, I have all of this in my bag at once hehe. The trick is glowing up your light so you can find it when you drop it or it falls out of your bag. I make a glow paracord lanyard attached that is long enough to be lit up by same light. 👽
PSA - If you suffer from mental issues due to the winter seasons, it is imperative to get out and disc (or other physical activities)! The fact that the manufacturers are finally giving the attention glow disc golfers need to play in the dark more easily is long overdue and welcome. Nothing could take me from Innova drivers (after using them for over a decade) until Eclipse 2.0 came out. On a side note - MVP glow is still hard, expensive and frustrating to find and seems to be in limited molds. Whoever is in marketing is doing a sad job of identifying with the people around me and the online communities I follow. Hopefully proto glow is going to eventually give me my Boss, Destroyer and Wraith again, since I can't find a similar MVP disc, which could just be me not knowing what they have in Eclipse 2.
I throw their putters exclusively since 2012 and all their glow has been trash for night golf. They need to up their glow game and I hope they do soon. I need about 12 right now. =-)
I honestly cant wait for that first batch of glow firebirds... and scepters!
Seriously🙌

I can confirm that this is very helpful! I have also used glow in the dark tape which is amazing as well
Lone Star Disc glow is definitely top tier. Glows all night and still glowing in the morning.
Bought the Leopard 3 and used it at night last weekend and its a great glow plastic. First year i didn't use lights taped to the disc because the glow plastic is so much better then it used to be.
Its crazy ypu didnt put Lone star discs glow on there.....literally the best glow on the market
We are going to run it back
Test the new discmania glow. I have one of the their new glow discs that glows really good.
Thank you so much for this. Just needed a lone star disc to complete it!
I like my new proto glow makos, but they are so yellow. Discraft is clearly the best for me, having that much glow for being that white, big props

Came here to say this. Daylight savings just ended…
Also, Infinite sells Goliath Discs Gloasis plastic, which is amazing! Still glows strong after 10 minutes

Yes we should I guess 😂
I have several KP. Some are great, others are less good. In the 2022 runs there are some vad apples.
Gonna set a reminder for Nov 4 2025 for a sweet sale 👍

@@Infinitediscs you screwed up the year nigga
I got the joke hahaha Bummer we have to wait a whole year

It would say MVP is for sure better but I would say that proto glow is only behind by very small margins
This is most likely the case! I will have to look into this
@@Infinitediscs have you tried it with color glow stuff I feel like some colors don’t glow as well as green does
Strange for me my new Zone in seasonal glow underperformed vs MVP and my Gorgon in new proto color glow. It was super bright to start but faded faster. Where can i buy those proto glow dx aviar prototype stamps?
Unfortunately they sent it directly to me but innova might release that stamp. I’m not sure
Damn no DD or Latt?

2023 K1 glow, sucks

This is helpful info

Not sure why it took so long for Innova to improve their flow plastic. Maybe the glow market wasn't big enough until recently?
Does glow discs seem more over stable than non glow in the same disc? It could be me
I’ve heard that a lot for sure
New Discmania is really good,
New RPM is not bad - better than the old
West Side/Trilogy is pretty good
Old Innova is only good for about three or four minutes
Mvp is mvp
Lone Star good
Kastaplast circa 2019 is great, new is meh, still gotta bag a berg.

👽
I’m going to use all of this for a video
You took my suggestion on the Innova glow video you made. Thank you!
Lets GOOO!
Yes, they took my suggestion too! Thanks Inf Disc! These are the vids we need but may not deserve.
Innova does not last. I love Leopard 3 so thanks Mikes1686 I’m buying one now
MVP is too bright. Damn near blind yourself 😂
Lone Star has amazing glow. Not sure why they were not included in this
Part 2 is going to have to come soon
Infinite glow plastic is ass. Just saying.
Hopefully the new stuff comes out way better. I have all the old glow as well and it is not too great

Kastaplast glows best under white light, not UV.
No Gateway representation? Their glow is mighty impressive
Gonna have to do a round two!

Gateway is ass
Wow no prodigy glow? Smh
Going to have to run another test
Mvp will always win lol and if someone gets a better glow mvp will up its game
