Steve&Rich Im a new subscriber, love your South Philly Shorts. Grew up at 7th & Mckean in 50s And 60s. Played half ball both sidearm and underhand. Anyway went away to college and had a career in Cardiac Surgery for over 30 years at National Institutes of Health in Bethesda ,Md. ,University of Texas, University of Pittsburgh UPMC. I totolly enjoy the nostalgic video. I graduated SPHS in 1970 and my buddies and I use to take the trolly at ninth & snyder to ninth & passiyunk to order pat's provalone wit/out. Eat the steak sandwich on the 10th street trolly going back to pre calculus with Mr. Mogul. On sundays would run intio Jerry Blavat at the bakery on third & McKean.
Keep up the videos my wife and I make the pilgramage back to S. Philly usually every couple years and I 'd love going to some of the places you highlight in your videos. Thanks Ben

Angelos is one of the best cheesesteak spots in the city hands down for sure. But you have to try homegrown coffee and creations, they got a cheesesteak on an everything roll which is a game changer. I did a review when I was back in Philly a couple of months ago. I can not wait to go back home to do a cheesesteak run. Great work brother.

He's the real deal what pizza place make there own rolls and uses a poolish, that's crazy when he could take the easy way and buy from Sarcons
