Angelo's Pizzeria - The Best Pizza in Philadelphia?!

I live in a Florida and I gotta say, that’s a damn good looking pie. I saw the Prez give it a great review and I knew it was a great pie when he reviewed it. Glad to see they are still going strong. Always support local because they are us.

I like it when you can taste the separate ingredients, especially, the olive oil, the sweetness of the tomatoes, and the rest works together to make it a good pizza

The Sarcones style bread is excellent. Unfortunately it is not common in Philly. Where as in European cities, extra high quality bread is more normal.

I’d say either Tacconelli’s or Vince’s is the best but Angelo’s is good. Also love Tony’s tomato pie

Noone ever acknowledges the NE.. I grew up there, have lived in south philly for 12 years.. I tell everyone all the time that there is better pizza in the NE than anything I've had in south philly.. Angelo's and celebre's(next to chickie n petes) are the only thing that even comes close

I’m from a pizza city but I will say Angelo’s Pizza may be one of the best I’ve ever had (Grandmas pie). Their cheesesteaks suck though.
