The cheese steak in every restaurant looks delicious! The first one put a lot of cheese, and it made me happy to see the cheese flowing out! However, the second one’s condiment section looks very tempting! It’s great that you can pick up cherry peppers for free! The queue at the third one was so unbelievable that it was in the United States, haha! The checkout clerk was too calm! The thin strips of onions from the fourth one go well with the diced beef! The fifth one also looks great! I thought every one was your favorite, luckily you ranked, haha! Thanks a lot for sharing, really great job! 👍😄👏
Zane, as the more-or-less 4,750th reviewer of Philly cheesesteaks in Philly there really is not a lot to add as to what has already with said & eaten. My humble input is to say that the roll counts most! Amorosos is a commercial bakery selling to everyone, including Pat's & Genos! Angelo's bakes his own rolls! Sonny's uses top-notch Liscios rolls. The other top-tier roll is from Scarcones! True there are hundreds of restaurants, Bodegas, delis & food carts selling Philly-style cheeBodega, so the chase goes on! My favorite is Donkey's Place across the river in NJ! By the way, Whizz is not even real cheese it's a 'processed cheese-food' with additives! LOL Stick with provalone!
Pats and genos aren’t visited by locals and we don’t eat whiz. It’s for tourists. Also amoroso rolls aren’t commonly used. They’re the bottom of the barrel rolls honestly. Locals get American or provolone
True.. .The upper class places make their own Cheeze whiz not the Craft stuff with that shady taste. the meat makes craft whiz taste decent.. but a Cheez whiz made from scratch? Excellent..
@@wisdoma4860 while true elite places sometimes make their own, it’s still by far the least ordered by locals. John’s doesn’t even carry it. Angelo’s stopped making it for over a year but just started again.
Great vid! I'd love to visit Philly one day. Would fill myself up on cheeseteaks and hoagies! Thanks for the recommendations! Seems its always sunny there too :)

Welcome back to the US of A. Crazy sandwich marathon but I will try Sonny’s next time as well as south st vibe. Hahah be careful else you may not fit into your custom made suit from Thailand!
The meat on a cheesesteak is never diced. It is sliced or sliced and then shredded right on the griddle. You can easily get two meals out of one cheesesteak.
Zane, you are awesome. I can’t believe you ate that many cheese steaks. I’d throw up. 😂 They all looked really good though and now I want a cheese steak! Just one. ❤
Hey Zane. I’ve been thinking of you because I’ve been running around Da Nang, Vietnam trying to find a patch! I also collect patches from every country. Where did you end up finding one in Vietnam? I have a layover in Hanoi airport when I leave on Monday, I’m hoping to find one there 🙏🏻 I’ve searched every souvenir shop, market, bookstore, and even sewing shops to no avail 🥲 any advice on where to find them in future countries in SE Asia would be greatly appreciated. I have a feeling I may have a hard time finding them in some countries. Glad you made it back to 🇺🇸 safely!
Thank you! Yes it can be challenging and I also had to hunt. Interestingly enough I was able to find a shop in Hanoi that had a bunch of patches I couldn’t find in other countries. It’s in the main area of the city
Shit, that’s a lot of Philly sandwiches in one day! I don’t plan on going to Philadelphia in the near future. But just wondering, how is the mass transit system, Metro, Public Bus? You did a lot of public transportation while you were in SE Asia, could you highlight some of it in your next vlogs? Thanks in advance!
Struth, that's like $Aust 25 per steak roll. Maybe I can't go to America after all if the food is that expensive. Imagine what hotel prices would be like.😢
It is all relative mate. What is minimum wage in Oz? About $22 an hour? I just checked and it is $7.25 US in Pennsylvania...(of course, employers can pay more). That translates to just over $11 Australian. So in theory, if you worked a minimum wage, for a $15US sandwich, you'd need to work the equivalent of just over one hour or so in Australia, but at $7.25 an hour in the US, you'd have to work 2 hours! Sorry man, don't feel too sorry for you.
I absolutely LOVE philly cheesesteak sandwiches! We had one place that had it here in Macau (China), but they stopped selling it, unfortunately. Nothing beats the ones I've had in Pennsylvania though, particularly Philly! It's also nice to see Philly in video outside of Kensington.
No Philly local would go to Pat’s or Geno’s. Strictly for tourists. John’s Roast Pork is the best. And Cheez Whiz is not cheese any more than Velveeta is.
Im a Philly native....Genos and Pats are tourist traps..and yes they are disappointments! lol genos cheesesteak looks dryer than the sahara lol The fruits and veggies place is called the Italian Market Shouldve gone to Jims on South St. or Johns Roast Pork in S. Philly now they make the best cheesesteak!
Zane im a follower and a Philadelphian Philly has alot of cheesesteaks pats and genos are the worst in the city. Sonny's is OK average. Top 3. 1. Dalessandros 2. Max's 3. Ishkabibels, the ones you went to are tourist steaks
I remember my 1st trip to PHL. My host took me to a steak shop I won’t name that is on your video. Wasn’t impressed. Then I went to Pats. That was 25 years ago. I’ve been back to PHL at least 20+ times since and will ONLY eat Cheesesteaks (Wiz Wit) at Pats. 23:05
Lmfao will not be subscribing. Anybody that puts Pat’s or Geno’s on top of Angelo’s in rankings shows how clueless they are. Any Philadelphians sees this, will automatically know this not a legit cheesesteak review. You could like your wiz over cooper sharp 🤷🏻♂️ but to put them dried beef jerky over Angelo’s 😂😂😂 #OkBuddy

That looks yummy 😋

Try Jim's South Street Cheesesteak in Philly.

How u gone have Angelos last? U buggin
he said wiz was better then sharp american lol
Inflation has gone crazy! 15$ for a single cheese-stake is unforgivable!
its actually 2515$ if you add the bypass surgery on clogged arteries from this kind of food.
Indeed true. For $15 it better be more with it ijs!.
It’s $12 for a Quarter Pounder meal at McDonalds. This is what a cheesesteak costs now.
No one to blame but corrupt, treasonous Biden
Vote Biden , Biden economics
That area with the produce, meat, etc is the Italian Market.
Love your videos❤😊😊keep it it up
The meat on a cheesesteak is never diced. It is sliced or sliced and then shredded right on the griddle. You can easily get two meals out of one cheesesteak.
Wow, you can't go wrong with any cheesesteak in Philly! Most of us thought Pat's and Geno's was it. Are you doing a pizza tour for NYC?
Pats and genos suck ass we have dozens of great steak shops
In the Italian Market is George’s which makes very good tripe sandwiches if you are adventurous or already like tripe.
You didn’t go to Jim’s Steaks on South St but maybe it was closed then as it was for a while due to fire.
Zane, you are awesome. I can’t believe you ate that many cheese steaks. I’d throw up. 😂 They all looked really good though and now I want a cheese steak! Just one. ❤
That's Home for me. Sure do miss it!
Haven’t had Sonny’s but just looking at that sandwich I can tell where I’ll be going next time.
What was the address for the food cart? Which streets.
น่ากิน.😋🤤

I'd really love to have the Cheesesteak with American and Provolone, I'm so hungry!!
Liscio’s and Amaroso’s are the popular suppliers of rolls.
Amoroso isn’t used that often they’re just mass produced
Deli American cheese is actually really good.
Land O Lakes New Yorker is my favorite deli American cheese.
@@jaredf6205 I will make it a point to try!
"Local fresh produce"? See any farms?
Yummy! Hi to Pinoy community in Phillies!.!

The subway isn't too safe right now. There's always a good amount of buses though. I usually do Uber if I can't walk for safety reasons.
Dalessandro's on henry ave
Food trucks/carts can make a good steak in Philly. Most tend to be less expensive than the brick and mortar places.
Delicious 😋 😊 later ZANE 👍👍👍✌️🙏

You missed JIM's on south street.. also forgot donkeys in camden
Finely chopped usually indicates cheaper cuts of beef, whereas medallion cuts are most definitely ribeye.
Cooper SHarp > Whiz .. shame
Wait, are you no longer doing tarot??
Their both good don't make us choose 😂Philadelphia got the best cheesesteaks in the US safe travels Nate.
Nah pats and genos are tourist traps
I absolutely LOVE philly cheesesteak sandwiches! We had one place that had it here in Macau (China), but they stopped selling it, unfortunately. Nothing beats the ones I've had in Pennsylvania though, particularly Philly! It's also nice to see Philly in video outside of Kensington.
stopped bcz cheese steak is like a heart attack in a roll.
No Philly local would go to Pat’s or Geno’s. Strictly for tourists. John’s Roast Pork is the best. And Cheez Whiz is not cheese any more than Velveeta is.
I am but I’m not eating 5 in a 7 hour day ! Lol😅
White American cheese is better than wiz
The last one looks more like an onion sandwich. No wonder it was cheaper... Where's the Beef?
Good video just stop calling the roll a bun LoL!!!
🙏😄😄😄😄😄😄🙏👍
American cheese is the best on a cheese steak and it should all be blended together like the food truck did.

2010 cheesesteak was 8.50
I was the 215th like 👍

Whiz! You know nothing John Snow! And diced means you cut the meat into cubes, you know like dice.
Bananas are $0.39/lb.
value for dollar is maxs

YOU CANT COMPARE UNLESS YOU ORDER THE SAME THING AT EACH PLACE
You like-a da whiz.
I liked the tour but I'd never pay $15 when I could make it better myself from scratch for $3.
Here under 500 views woohoo
The best is PATs because it's about tradition ❤ 1930 original cheesesteak
Pats sucks it’s a tourist trap we locals don’t go to pats or genos

Quality food reviews aren’t for you….
WOW...all i got
love how these cheesesteak videos are starting become repetitive derivatives of each other. all visiting the same spots with same comments...
Don't badmouth American cheese.
American cheese is not cheese at all, good on you for not liking it.
there are countless better cheesesteaks at pizzerias throughout new jersey
