Yeah, Can relate. Gravy bread..my mom chased me from the kitchen and said if I kept eating it there wouldn't.t be any left for dinner. And, macaroni Sunday, Tuesday and every Thursday!
I work at an Italian restaurant in Florida. The chef is from Torino. The other two line cooks are old heads from Bari and Naples. No oregano or pecorino romano in the whole place. Basil, basil, basil. So sometimes I bring in the long hots from my garden and the oregano from my garden and some Locatelli. The Italians couldn't care less but the Mexicans love it!!! Oh, but the cook from Bari taught me a good way to cook the long hots with some cherry tomatoes and garlic.
That’s how we ate in Philly. Mostly everything was homemade. I used to help my Grandmother my Nan . And we did twirl are macaroni with a fork and spoon. Miss those days 🥲
@@rleeboston33 - Oh, I knew he had one in Vegas, so I was wondering if he had one in Florida too with how he was talking about Marino and Fat Joe, known Miami residents. That one they are in in this video is definitely Philly. It's in Fishtown out here in Philly.
Boys, this is some excellent content. What's up with the micro episodes? Wait, you're putting the full episodes in the can and trying to sell it to Netflix???? I'd pay to watch every episode if it was a full episode.
Soooo this is what I imagine when thinking about philly.....which I have never been to....even in the wealthy neighborhoods your never ever safe.... No matter where at in Philadelphia can you be outside after dark... That's what I think of that place
yes I make salad the same way, yes I toss it with my hands, but I dont want anyone else hand tossing my salad with their hands=Mannaggia and especially if they just washed them with soap....... Capiche
How can you watch movie clips with music blaring? Not only that, eating at a table is a good time to converse. How the hell can you converse with obnoxiously loud music?
Well it is something different. If you don't want that then just don't go. I personally think the movie clips are cool. Me personally I'd have some light jazz I'm the background or some Sinatra.
you cant find this good italian food everywhere ..as a siclian i can say theres a ton of fake italan restraunts everywhere ... m from cape cod mass and 95 % of italian places around here suck . me and my wife can cook way better at home . im sorry ill never come to philly but like the chef and wat hes doing .
Oh and I've seen allllll the videos of the zombies(?)...standing in the streets and all the garbage....the place looks disgusting..like most of los Angela's Oakland San Fran..
to me, this is hell on earth. what a joke. i love travelling in Italy. this is a circus of a narcissist who parades average food in a joke environment. with a bloated price. i would never ever go to this place
Good video, but maybe you need to pay attention to your captions before you load the video. At one point they were talking about mussels, not muscles, lol.
Probably the best Italian American chef outside of your own kitchen
Right On Brother. Movies, Music & Food. I'm there with you. God Bless. Daniel
Man- do I miss Martarano's in Vegas. That salad is amazing. Come back, Chef!!!
The re-use of the Cool Whip container is 100% South Philly!
Steve is the best chef in Philly 💪🏻
This might be your best yet Steve!
Being an italian from Toronto & hearing gravy on my pasta, its like say what, 🇮🇹👈

Nice looking restaurant cheers and Merry Christmas
Best video yet
Excellent I used live south Philly now in Lancaster pa
Steve & Steve Vibin like only 2 south Philly dudes can
What a wonderful chef, great food, down to earth, and I like the bottom of his menu! "Let me cook"
Lived with family in Abruzzo and they all used spoons to twirl their pasta, as a matter of fact, they taught me to use a spoon.
Yo Cuz… What do you call an Italian 🇮🇹 without hands?
A very useful video. Now I know how to cook pasta properly😂
How would I contact you about a great restaurant in south philly you haven't been to?
Wait, is this in Philly or Florida?
I'm confused, too. Luda, Fat Joe and these guys certainly aren't in Philly like that but do live in South Florida. Dan Marino, etc.
@@TopBillinSports title says Philly but they seemed to allude to Florida. I'm going to Philly in April and am genuinely curious haha

@@rleeboston33 - It's South Philly, homie. It's all great around here if you know what you're doing.
8.8 is a really good score

Is this George's aka Cowboys son?

Great job as usual. Another fact is no grated cheese on seafood n pasta dishes in Italy. If you ask they will look at you like your a alien.
Good for you !
Our macaroni days were sunday and wed
The definition of a South Philly Guido!
What's up Cuz.😊😂😊😂
Medigan move using a spoon. I was told and taught to twirl before I could walk!!
imagine having to work for Mr. Martarono's
You have to have a passion to do Food and Beverage. It is the hardest job in the World. Been there Done that.
Im dyin to try my paisans food so bad, maybe one day
I'm in Trenton nj so it should be possible one day
The restaurant is not in South Philly. The Goodfellas scenes are tired, well worn out cuz.
It's in Fishtown, a neighborhood in North Philly next to Kensington!
It's an old Irish working class neighborhood 🍀 now gentrified into yuppy Hood!
👍👏👏👏
Gravy has meat in it
Sauce is red sauce
It is what it is
He is right about the sauce touching the vinegar. Really ups the taste.
💯 🇮🇹🍕

Ahhhhh philthadelphia
If I'm going to a real nice Italian restaurant I at least want homemade pasta! Not packaged dried pasta!
