Thank you ☺️ They are a great source of happiness in our house. Laugh so much daily because of them ♥️🐶 The parkas are mainly for my two dogs, Chipper and Rita. On cold rainy days, Chipper the mini dachshund will refuse to go out to do her business and my 3-legged Rita will shiver and we can hear her teeth chattering when she comes back in, poor thing. The parkas really help them. Our German Shepherd Charlie on the other hand is a winter champ. Cold, rain, and snow can’t do anything to her! She loves snow as a matter of fact. Her jacket is merely for show or to feel like she’s part of the gang 😅 Thank you for watching and for your comment!
Such a nice video...very well done! Yes, I saw the Kay Parris blanketed in snow and the shakedown! Hope it makes it because the natural leaf design is challenged with snow...that is as compared to a conifer leaf.
Thank you! While all this snow was beautiful and everything… I couldn’t help wishing it’d go away soon (which it did! It only lasted a few days) Yeah I know… I really hope all my dwarf southern magnolias don’t get any cold damage, and my other evergreen shrubs too. They’re my prize possessions… especially the Kay Parris - my favorite. But so far since snow’s melted, everything looks ok. Fingers crossed 🤞
Which is quite unusual for us here especially as early and as much as this! I just hope my dwarf southern magnolias don’t get damaged. Have you had snow yet in Germany?
We had a little bit of snow but it didn't stay. Your garden looks like in a winterwonderland. Snow is supposed to protect the roots of the plants - but when it's to heavy it can damage the branches. Good that you shook it of.
Hello Lin, Love your channel! Especially bc you’re learned so much in such a short period of time!! Omg - what about your rose plants, do you have to cover them for the Winter & snow??
Hi Sonia! Thank you for the compliment :) I’m glad you enjoyed my channel. To answer your question, I don’t do much at all to protect my in-ground and container roses believe it or not. The only protection I give them is about 2-3 inches of mulch! They’re incredibly tough plants. Either that or our winter here in zone 8b doesn’t stay too cold for too long. All in all, I consider myself lucky to be living here :)
Your dogs are so adorable lining up for their treats and wearing dog parkas with fur collars.

The snow is beautiful...
I think so too 😊
A second video with no commentary. I'm going backwards through your vids & that salad looks scrumptious.
It tastes good! I’ll make us one next time we get together!
Wow. We don’t even have snow yet in Nebraska
2022 weather has been so wonky!
You have a lot of snow already 🌨❄️☃️

@@Linasgardens Wow, so much snow! I'm in Europe zone 7b and no snow here.
@@Chaos_of_beauty yes quite strange for us this year
