My Khe beach is one of the best beach in Da Nang, maybe in the whole country. The beach is very clean thanks to the resorts nearby and local government help to keep the beach clean. Da Nang population is around 1 mil people (not 1.2), the city is not crowded like Saigon or Hanoi, but the infrastructure is considered top notch as you see. During the tourist season, it could be a bit crowded, but there are still roomy, not overwhelm. If your guy have a chance to go to Vietnam, visit Da Nang, you will not disappoint.
Thanks for your articulate videos. I vacationed courtesy of the US Air Force in Da Nang. The nickname back then was Rocket City. Went to the beach every day because I worked in the afternoon even had a surfboard. There was nothing on the beach and I would tell my friends someday this is gonna look like Hawaii and they laughed at me.
There were some issues with sewer outlets going into the water at one point along the beach. But when the Korean and Chinese tourists were in town the beach was packed and so was the water.
Da nhang is very nice combination of city and sea shores Enjoying the beach and the city as well... Philippines has thousands of white beaches scattered... I heard boracay islands Philippines one of well known beach in Philippines.. I like Vietnam Never been there yet but maybe someday soon...
Boracay has been recently cleaned up and modernized via an environmental mitigation initiative, but its businesses have struggled with the costs and requirements and many have shut down it changed hands. The pandemic has caused its own financial stress having everything closed down and no tourism travel for the entire nation. Perhaps in a year, with the pandemic hopefully behind and done additional time to recover Boracay will once again reclaim its total is one of the worlds most desirable destinations. It’s us a stunningly beautiful place that became over touristed. Let’s see how it fares with the new restrictions on number of tourists. It’s being held up as a Model here in the Philippines for other environmental restoration projects to come.
Angie Globetrotter Awesome that you’re there enjoying Da Nang. Check out the Dirty Fingers restaurant and bar a little south of the beach. And any of the many Korean bbq places. There’s one I particularly like on the river, a little north of the Dragon bright on the east side of the river. BNQ Un In.
I love the "high stress" lifestyle... need to get back for the 4pm massage. LOL Looks very nice, just need to live elsewhere in Nov- Dec it sounds like.
Yes Sanya China is 174 Miles from Da Nang Vietnam , before Covid-19 they had cruise ships daily from and to Vietnam to Hanoi & other Vietnam Cities . I check Flight Radar 24 off and on now but don't see any flights between Da Nang ( DAD ) to Sanya China ( SYX ) , can only hope that changes ASAP and lockdowns are lifted for Tourists as Sanya China is The Hawaii Of China with beautiful weather and 27 miles of pretty beaches .
There are parking lots all along the beach where you can park a scooter for 4000vnd for the day. That’s only about 17 cents US. East Sea Park is resides along one stretch of My Khe Beach. All the same beach.
Neither I nor the three other American friends who went to Vietnam at the same time, took any vaccinations. Maybe we were naive or just relaxed about living in and traveling in SE Asia for years each. Maybe foolhardy. As such, none of the four of us are likely qualified to advise on this subject. Reekay is still there, the rest of us have come back to the Philippines after various lengths of stay. It might be interesting to ask Reekay. If you don’t know him you can find him on FB (Reekay Velez) or on his Reekay’s Life Beyond The Sea FB page or TH-cam channel.
Just found your channel, and it looks as though it is much cleaner there than Cebu or Pampanga? Very nice apartment you have for the price. I was renting last fall/winter on Bantayan Island, nothing like what your place is like....I am thinking about either Da Nang or Thailand but you video has me leaning toward Da Nang.
I shot a lot of photos and some video clips on a 7km walk from my apartment to two of the five bridges that cross the Han River (which cuts through the city). I’ll piece together a video from that. And another from a series of pics and a couple video clips I shot this morning riding north of the city into the mountains. Da Nang is far cleaner than anywhere I’ve been in the PH, as a 1.25m population city it’s also far less congested than anywhere if similar size I’ve been in the PH and access to nature is mere minutes away. Plus it’s hot two waterfronts; the ocean and the river. I haven’t scratched the surface here. It’s amazing.
It depends on the time of year. I was there during a period of low tourism and later a period when there were mostly Koreans, bus load after bus load and filling the beach to the point of being overcrowded. There might also be a time of year when it’s mainly chinese tourists. Certainly Da Nang is a very popular tourist destination in the region.
@@CarlWithACamera haha yes The invasion generally I choose case-by-case judgment but I ran into some pretty rude behavior,.. I noticed your mention of the Philippines, I still have a nice lot on the beach on bohole island, pretty spot but not my choice where to live, Happy travels
We have been on this beach 🏖 and yes it is beautiful and clean. Hope to go back in the future.

My dad used to take our family there every Sunday. Look so different now. Thanks for sharing.
You’re very welcome. It’s a great beach. One thing I definitely miss about Da Nang.
Another great video. Well done dude
Thanks. Hope to make many more here in The Philippines.
nice My Khe Beach and clean, love so much 🌴 🌴🌴
Beautiful beach town!
Love your commentary! Very informative and inspirational!
Nice beach.

Agreed. If you can be mobile in your lifestyle you can have the best of SE Asia and avoid the downsides.
I'm here now, January 15th and the weather is already great!
How does a massage in Vietnam compare to a traditional Thai massage ? Thx
It’s more Swedish. Gentle and relaxing. But I imagine they do various types of massage upon request.
@@CarlWithACamera ***Come on man...there was a HE ?Was there FS available? We need to know these details Sir.***
@banana patch just as good and cheaper

If it’s more beautiful than Da Nang then it must be gorgeous.
Hi, we are going there next month. Where in My Khe beach can we park our scooter? Also, is this different from East Sea Park?

Did you take any vaccinations like DTP when you travelled in Vietnam. I am going in 3 weeks and am hesitating what to do.

What camera do you use?
GoPro Hero 7 Black

I notice people bicycling, is it safe to bicycle along the beach road?
I’d say yes, absolutely. There’s a good shoulder all along the way and traffic isn’t too bad up near the beach.
this location Danang has nothing to do with Hainan + Sanya.
Author, plse remove any reference to chinese Hainan.
It is a beautiful beach but I will disagree about the Asian tourist I saw bus load after bus load of Chinese and mostly my Chinese
