I have to 10000% agree. I've been looking for a simple way to turn my full side bed into a day bed and been feeling defeated with all these fancy designs. I just wanted to find something simple to put into the corner and add pillows. BEST VIDEO 🎉
Omg you can’t imagine how much I’m obsess with your channel this moment ! I’m in love with your life your style... EVRYTHING ! Your apartment is such a dream ❤️ _Sorry if there are bad sentences but I’m French..._
hey if you want to tone the colour of the curtains down, it's super easy to dye them with some earl grey tea. gives fabric a lovely warm vintage tone! Depending on the fabric (naturals work better) it's permanent and washable :)
I love bringing the outdoors indoors. I have something similar in my bedroom and my husband thinks he sleeps in some fairy tale. Loving your channel!! ❤
Love your little piece of boho paradise! It was funny when you were talking about your Pinterest, I was like ohh that's me, check, check, yep that stuff too. Lol. Now if only I would put some ideas into action haha. Thanks for the inspo to get something done. BTW, I appreciate both the visual aspect of your vids AND hearing you discuss things in greater detail/showing where you drilled, etc, it was super helpful! :)
I don't know if you are still using these curtains, but if you are it would look really nice if you dyed them with tea! The warmer tea stain would blend into your decor really well, rather than stark white. 😊
I loved this! I barely can put together ikea furniture but you made doing everything from scratch look so easy! I which there were more diy videos like this out in the world, it's very empowering to see
I love how the stained woood looks, and how simple the bed construction is ! recently I've been experimenting with plant / organic material based dyes-- lots of beautiful earth tones and beiges, could be an interesting solution for your curtains if u don't like the white and are looking for another project!
New to this channel and I'm currently binge watching. I've watched your most recent video, loved it, subscribed then started on your first video onwards. I'm currently on this vid. You're my fave vlogger rn. 🧡
This is it! Thank you thank you! I live in a one bedroom apartment with a two year old. We share a bed but it’s time to go our own way😂I’m going to do this to my living room and it’ll be perfect! You remind me of me 😂 always doing new stuff. Sewing machine, tools, hanging, building…I’m a do it yourselfer too and I just subscribed!
Wow that’s amazing you did this yourself! I want to do this but I don’t know if I have the patience to do it myself, but I bet this is much sturdier than most couches Seriously awesome!!!!
My new fave hoooman here in youtube!! Loved everything about you from your vanlife, music taste, outfits, humor, your apartment and plant friends. Gaaawd iloveyouuu!!
Looks good! I believe the metal is called angle iron. Or maybe it was made from steel? It can be bought at Lowe's or Home Depot in the hardware department. Hannah, what I used to hang my drop cloth curtains was plumbing pipe. Can be done from the ceiling. Actually, conduit is cheaper.
I really love your bed that you m and now I am seriously about making one for myself! I have few questions before I go 1) What's the dimension of lumbers/ long metal(that supports the bed frame) that you used in the video? 2) Where did you get the lumbers? 3) Did you have to cut the lumbers? 4) Did the long metal thing perfectly fit the length of the lumber? 5) It's been few months since you've made it. Were there any improvements that you wanna make? Sorry for bothering you and Thank you!!
😱That was legit so much WORK BUT OMG so worth it! 👏👏👏Thank you so much for this format. Trying to use this idea for the living room in the home where moving to. 🤗
Your so talented!! Love your videos !!! I love all your plants ! I don’t do well with them they die on me all the time . Any suggestions to keep plants alive ?
I kept thinking it would be a really nice guest bed too, with a little more privacy because of the curtains. It looks so nice! I really love your diy videos (:
Wow I just found you're channel from your apt. tour video and I think you are talented and creative. I only hope that you have confidence in yourself because you are amazing! :)
I like the diy videos your creating, I feel like you may be into dying fabric, the curtains would look fab dyed with avocado pits and their skins, it makes a lovely pink tone, maybe something nice to try either way
Late to the game here, but this is such a great use of the space. I know if I was a guest at someone's house, I'd be excited to have a setup like this, if they didn't have a dedicated guest room; Curtains for a bit of privacy, and essentially a charging station. I like the curtains, but if you wanted to zhuzh it up a bit, you could use stamps and fabric paint to pattern them. Going to go redecorate my life now...
Love your DIY Videos and discovered your channel through your apartment tour. Instantly subscribed. Just a little idea, maybe you could paint the daybed legs in black to mach the overall aesthetic
I didn’t like the color of the one before, and I couldn’t stain it because it was particle board, and not real wood (it’s basically a bunch of compacted wood chips and sawdust with a plastic-y coating over the top) so I just replaced it instead! (:
I stumbled on this video and I happen to be in the market for a bed frame! 😄 Amazon has one for $193. How much did you spend on supplies to make this one??
oh girl, you're adorable and so inspiring! i liked the way you did this video, explanation after, it's less distracting during the building portion. i noticed a lot of your plants aren't near windows... when i do that they don't do well which i assume is from lack of sunlight... your thoughts?? xo
Obsessed with your videos, makes me wish I had my own apartment to decorate! This is random, but where did you get your gold circular ring from? I've been looking for cute gold jewelry
i LOVE your diy videos - they're so much more practical and useful than 90% of diy videos out there
Lolol I’m so glad! I figure if I can do this stuff so can anyone 😂
I have to 10000% agree. I've been looking for a simple way to turn my full side bed into a day bed and been feeling defeated with all these fancy designs. I just wanted to find something simple to put into the corner and add pillows. BEST VIDEO 🎉
i really prefer this format even tho i watched until the end . I like seeing everything first.

That curtain doubles as a privacy drape when you have a guest sleeping there.
I really love your bed that you m and now I am seriously about making one for myself!

Where is your green onesie pajamas from? They are so cute!
I love this idea! But, I would cover the wood with foam and canvas to soften the edge. Very practical and beautiful.

Don't understand all those fancy words, but I like what I saw. I mean the bed and the creativity you show. Definitely, you should design my van.
Your so talented!! Love your videos !!! I love all your plants ! I don’t do well with them they die on me all the time . Any suggestions to keep plants alive ?

Your face reminds me so much of the girl from A walk to remember!! Lol!
Love the bed 🙂
Love your ideas! Thanks for sharing the tips as I have never done anything like this before but really want to try. You are so awesome. ❤
I would love to do this. Daybeds can be so expensive. And if you don’t mind, do you know where that sweater is from?
So cool but I don’t understand why you replaced the wood?
I didn’t like the color of the one before, and I couldn’t stain it because it was particle board, and not real wood (it’s basically a bunch of compacted wood chips and sawdust with a plastic-y coating over the top) so I just replaced it instead! (:
Hi Hannah, I love your old partical board daybed. Where did you buy it? This project was fun to watch. 😊
Sunny Girl Lisa I believe it was a super old ikea frame I got at a garage sale
your videos kind of inspire me :,)

Love it! But what are you using to stain the wood? Because I don't saw I brush and i'm really curious !
A rag! Best way to stain 😊
Where did you get the pillows? What size are they?
Where did you get that little table your mug was sitting on?
Ikea ♥️

Maybe you could make a video about all your plants and how to look after them.
Great job it's beautiful
I think i might do this in my room
Can you pretty please do a video about the best Indoor plants 🌱
I would love a video about this. I have had a couple of plants that have died. It would be good to know what plants that are easy to look after.

Where are the pillows from?
You are so clever!
Idk if you'll see this but do you know where those pillows are from? They're like a perfect size
