- Thank you for watching today's video! I'm excited to be taking a deep dive into the recently launched Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint. I am a huge fan of Lisa's craft and products, so I was really excited about this launch. I have combination/oily acne prone skin, light medium skin tone with neutral olive undertones. I chose shade T5 in this formula.
In this video, I'll be giving you a comprehensive review of the Skin Tint, explore the application process, the finish, and its overall effectiveness in evening out skin tone. I'll also be comparing it to other luxury skin tints that I've tried, to help you decide if it would be a good fit for your routine.
Plus, I'll also be swatching the two new lip liners I purchased from Lisa Eldridge's line and giving you some quick comparisons.

I applied a layer of Tatcha silk sunscreen under the Lisa Eldridge skin tint, and oh my LORD, what an exquisite, skin-like, flawless combination! 😍

Oh i have that on my list for the sale since they repkg it. I wore SF sunscreen under it the first 2 days i wore it and the 2nd time i added the tatcha liquid silk primer

You blessed us with this review - its solidly on my list to buy list now. I want to use up a complexion product before I get the LE skin tint so that is good motivation for me. I think for the sephora sale I will pick up the fenty skin tint as it's been on my list forever and I trust your taste. Your skin looks so good and that shade is such a good match for you! I would love to know what you top skin tints are!
for sure wait to finish something up first, then the Lisa Eldridge tint will be even more fun to try! as for my favorite skin tints, I touch on most of them in this video - Chanel water fresh tint, fenty skin tint, ciele tint & protect and the old faithful NARS tinted moisturizer along with Chantecaille future skin and just skin tinted moisturizer have all been fantastic and loved my me throughout the years.
I am also hearing really good things about the new stick version of the fenty skin tint, so could also be worth looking into 😊

I never used a tint before because I wanted more coverage on my combination, rosacea prone skin. After using tint T3 mixed with a drop of T6 I am thinking I may only use foundation for special occasions. It wears so beautifully and is so comfortable on my skin. Lisa Eldridge has a homerun with this product!

I purchased 3 of the lip pencils 0N,1C and 2 C I really enjoy them I definitely agree these are great tones I find Charlotte tilbury iconic nude too warm toned on me pulls a little orange Lisa Eldridge ON a perfect nude for my lips very glad I picked up all 3 shades I will continue enjoying wearing them
I’m so happy with the lip liners too! Iconic Nude was never my favorite, I definitely prefer Lisa’s 0N shade as it’s a bit more natural looking and blends in better with my natural lip colour
Thanks for this review. I too purchased Lisa's skin tint and love it--it blends in so smoothly, leaving the skin feeling. silky, plus it is almost invisible. I am in my early 40s, and I see so much more redness in my skin--I don't like it. You mentioned the Prada foundation--it is beautiful but on me, any invisible dry patches to the naked eye show up with this product. I have combo skin, my T zone is oily but my cheeks... are dry (I hope this helps). :)

Thank you for this lovely review. In my more sheer base products memory I started with laura mercier oilfree tinted moisturizer. ( I didn't finished this one completely ) than I had the Nars tinted moisturizer ( i loved that one, shade match was better than the LM, and finnished it) than I got the Hourglass skin tint in november 2023 and I loved it so much that bye the time the LE was launching my tube Hourglass was almost half way. I couldn't help myself and got the LisaEldridge before my Hourglass was jused up. And guess what I love the LE even better than the Hourglass. I gambled and got the lightest shade T1 with rosy undertones. And it is a great shade match. I am so glad that I didn't got the foundation. I prefer a light base. And for the foundation I found that shade 5 was to gray on me and nr 6 to yellow nr 7 was best on me but a hair to dark. ( with the samples from the foundation) So I end up not buying it. ( thank you for comparing it with the fenty in your review, I was eyeing that one also because I can order it from the French sephora here in Belguim and it is fragrance free as well . But now I am coverd. Maby if my ligth base products are empty I can try the Fenty.
I liked the NARS tinted moisturizer better than Laura Mercier as well! happy to hear that the Lisa Eldridge skin tint is working for you too and that you were able to find a good shade match ❤️
I love this, too but initially I had some of the same problems I did with the foundation. My skin could be described as normal but maybe it’s my older skin but the foundation was so patchy. Here’s what helped. First I tried a heavy moisturizer to fix the patchiness but that didn’t help. My next go to was what worked - a single pump of Youthforia Game Day Primer and a couple of drops with fingers are perfection. I get that she’s focused on pigment so the formula makes sense coming from her and just so glad I was able to make it work for me. Hope others are enjoying it, too! Also, was pleasantly surprised to get the sharpener with the lip pencil - an extra one never hurts😊✨
One more quick note - I can’t wait to see what her concealer looks like!

beautiful! I am using it with the natasha denona concealer, and the same centella sunscreen under. It's such a lovely finish, but I am concerned that my skin in summer will get too oily. I live in a very humid climate and it gets the best of my combo skin for a good chunk of the year, but the new Danessa Myricks "skin water powder serum" makes me wonder if it would go well under this skin tint.
it definitely seems like it will need some extra support for hot humid days - my oiliness kicks up a notch in that climate as well. the Danessa Myricks product sounds so interesting!
I purchased this skin tint. I was so excited. I have mature skin, so a tendency to drier skin, with a good moisturizer, I just love it! thank s for a great video. So glad you enjoy it too ☺

Hey Sandra, I was hoping you would review this! What shade are you in luminous silk foundation as I’m trying to work out what shade in the LE skin tint 😊
I wear shade 3.5 in luminous silk which is a touch too dark for me right now (I am at my palest lol) but I can make it work. If you have Instagram, on my Instagram in the “makeup” highlights I have a slide with comparison swatches of the Lisa Eldridge skin tint T5 and some other foundations including Luminous Silk in 3.5. You can also DM Lisa on Instagram and her team is really helpful to guide you with a shade match 🥰

I wouldn’t really call it orange on me. id describe it more as a blend of warm pink peach and brown, however if your skin has cooler undertones than me it might pull too warm for your preference

I haven’t tried those. I was never interested in buying them as they don’t seem to be suitable for my skin type. from looking at the ingredients list the WA product has a lot more oils in it compared to the Lisa Eldridge, and is marketed to have a dewy finish

I like a glowy finish but also, I have many glossy sunscreens I can apply underneath. I am hoping though that it will stay in place, not like the Chanel water fresh. That one looked a bit too foundation-y, set in my wrinkles and transferred to clothes and phone like crazy.
If it’s like Mac face and body in the finish and performance, I will love it!
it definitely sets more than the Chanel water fresh touch foundation and I have not experienced much transfer either 🙂 a glowy sunscreen will definitely shine though the formula and give you a more luminous finish
@@ttsandra Mine just arrived today and so far I am not a fan. It’s exactly like I just mentioned that was hoping not to be. Will try again with different application to make sure is not user error but so far not looking promising. Happy it works out for you though!
Could you review the Supergoop Protec(tint)? I am wondering how it compares with Lisa’s.

I haven’t! I don’t think I will pick any of them up honestly because none of the colors really speak to me (plus I prefer a cream bronzer in a pot so that my brush can fit in the pan)
You could have rosacea perhaps even if it is just showing on your nose. Your videos never feel like an ad or a QVC video, I enjoy watching you and hearing your thoughts.
i appreciate it!! i've seen a dermatologist and they did not diagnose me with rosacea but they did recommend treatments like IPL or V Beam laser to help diminish the redness

Could you tell us how the longevity of the Lisa Eldridge compared to the Chanel Les Beiges water fresh?
I mentioned it in the video. They have the same longevity on my skin 🙂 both wear in a similar way on my skin (a little bit of blotting needed but fades elegantly at the end of the day)
Such a good video ! Have you noticed it takes a few minutes to settle in?
on my skin I find that it settles in quite quickly, but I think it might depend on what skincare you’re wearing underneath. I’ve seen friends online that like a dewier skin prep say that it takes a little bit to settle and adjust on them!

I agree, it depends on your base. My primer made it a little glowy so I had to wait a few minutes for it to set and I also used a bit of powder to take down the shine from the primer.

the only mineral sunscreen that looked good under makeup is the now discontinued biossance one. they said they are reformulating it, but there's nothing on a release date or beyond that info 😭😭
That is so frustrating 😭 I have some friends that swear by the Paula’s choice daily wrinkle defense spf 30 under makeup but I haven’t tried it yet!

Oh no!! did you have the same issue with the foundation? that’s kind of what the foundation felt like to me.
A worry I have is that someone said that when they came to clean off there was nothing on the pad in terms of colour!! 😮
It definitely shows up on my Face Halo when I remove it at the end of the day!

I wanted to get it but i was concerned about the salicylic acid in it. Just wish it wasn't in there because i don't want to use a complexion product with an active in it.
A totally valid concern!! It’s honestly so low on the ingredients list, I wouldn’t exactly count it as an active. But of course best to avoid it if it’s an ingredient you’re sensitive to ❤️
@@ttsandra I'm not sensitive to it but for example, LRP has a sunscreen gel that has salicylic acid in it and some people reported it causing peeling of their skin .
@@firnheledien i had a similar experience with the glow recipe blurring primer, i can use it 2-3 times per week but when i used it daily i could feel my skin getting more sensitive (especially since i use tretinoin at night). i have used the lisa eldridge skin tint daily for a week now and thankfully have not experienced any sensitivity
@@ttsandra I use tretinoin compounded with hydroquinone so I'm very cautious about other actives.
Lisa is crueltyfree- unlike Chanel.
I love LE but this is just ok. Trinny London us much better.
