Funnily enough I was only looking at this today online on Lisa's site, and now that I've seen your video I'm definitely going to try it. The older I get, the less I want the usual kind of foundation, and now much prefer a really light 'my skin but better' look.
Oh my gosh the tip Re the brush around the pores is so helpful! You are such a natural beauty. I just placed an order for 3 of Lisa’s lipsticks, but this tint is in my wish list for sure.
I’m the same way w/ concealer!!! I don’t like to wear it. Especially since I’m getting older. I’m gonna have to get this product! I’ve been on the hunt for a good skin tint that looks natural. Especially for spring & summer.
This looks lovely on you Shonagh, I’d love to try it but very sceptical about it covering my rather too rosy cheeks, I would certainly have to apply the seven drops like you did. Certainly a beautiful product, thank you for the review 🥰💜
It looks lovely, Shonagh. Tempted to try it but I have a bit more things to hide. I am also quite oily and now that we are headed into Spring and Summer, I wonder if my oils will break through too much. Lisa's shade choices are fantastic. It seems like other brands run way too yellow. Lisa knows how to make a true neutral. Thanks for your review!
I agree, she certainly does! I’ve found I’m less oily with this than the Dr Jart (which I still LOVE!) I just find I need to powder a couple more times with Dr Jart compared to the LE Skin Tint.
I love the way this sits on my face. It’s a really beautiful sheer to light coverage. I have found that using a tiny bit of the Charlotte Tilbury pressed powder on my T-zone and sprayed with the CT setting spray (I don’t have Lisa’s one), it lasts beautifully for up to 12 hours and stands up to me wearing glasses. I have dry, dehydrated skin and am in my mid-40s and it doesn’t fully hide the skin discolouration I have, but it does blur it. It’s like I’m having my best skin day. Loved your review, thanks!
Looks so lovely Shonagh! Just returned from London with my Selfridge’s and Space NK bags loaded with Lisa Eldridge😜 can’t wait to try the skin tint! Her liquid eyeshadows and glosses are lovely too!
Great video demonstrating the Skin Tint. It’s beautiful. I’m a huge fan as you know, but just wanted to jump on and say still going great. I’m also using around 7-8 drops for the coverage I like, but it’s still so natural looking. Totally agree it’s fab round my eyes, and I too need much less powder. Thanks for yet another great recommendation Shonagh. Think I’m up to about 80% of my face is your recommendations. ❤ xx
Wow! What a beautiful shade match. Really love the way she blended the product with fingers into the skin. I want to get T5 bit this looks like a great summer shade for me as well ❤❤❤
V tempted to try this even though I'm a powder foundation girl lol. Have you tried her mascara yet? I have a few mascaras to use up but really want to try it out. Emma x
I was looking at her site last night to see if you can buy a, sample card but could only find them for her foundation. It looks really lovely on you and I'm very tempted but really want to sample it first to make sure I get the right shade.
I purchased the skin tint the day it released. It feels so tiny in your hand. But it genuinely is a beautiful product. It’s not particularly cheap by any means but it’s beautiful. I also got hold of 0N lipliner and another shade. The 0N is a very cool tone but lovely
It looks stunning on you, and on everyone I've seen use it so far. In an ideal world I'd be able to sample. I decluttered her foundation, and I can have reactions where certain foundations emphasise pores, go irreparably patchy and make my face hot. Have you ever used the Kevyn Aucoin Stripped Nude Skin Tint? If yes, how does the Lisa compare?
Hi Shonagh, only just subscribed. Could I ask what LE foundation you might wear/chose? The reason is I use LE number 10 and was going to buy the Tint in T5.
Wonderful video and very thorough. I am curious how you prepped your skin before using this skin tint? What moisturizer and. Sunscreen did you use? Thank you so much.❤
Thanks for sharing, think it looks stunning on you. Would you prime your skin first or not bother and what is the small brush you used to blend in around your nose? Many thanks Karen
Wedding went well, thanks to your tips, but I'm still left with skintint 6 which is too pale for me unless I ham it up with other things. I'm thinking of moving from 6 to 7, but can't afford to make expensive mistakes. My mobile phone pics come up pale so no use sending to Lisa's advisors. I've got dark blonde hair with a slight ginger tint, medium hazel green eyes, light-medium skin tone, sightly sallow neck and body. Suspect I'm neutral-warm. My brows and lashes are medium brown, with gold tips. I'm hoping you might have some thoughts, cos relying on bronzer annoys me a bit, as I want to be able to just wear the skintint with mascara and a lippie for the corner shop/school run etc!
@@Ladynipchick2 how about going for shade 8 or 9 and then mixing it with 6, they’re all neutral so you don’t have to worry about undertones. That way you don’t waste 6 and you’ll have double the amount. That’s what I do when I’ve got a foundation that’s too light and I don’t want to waste it.
@@ShonaghScott That's definitely an idea! I'll take a look at those shades tonight. Thankyou for replying. 😘 Oh, just looked now, and I've chosen 8. Hopefully that will work well. Thanks again.
You’ve touched so many things before you started to apply the tint in your face. Has this always worked for you or you have had some skin problems at times?
Never had a problem. I think if you have quite sensitive skin it’s important to be mindful of those things but I have a great medical-grade skincare routine.
@@ShonaghScott I just keep right hand clean at all times until I touch whatever I apply on my face make up wise. I’ve purchased some great brushes to apply foundation and concealer with but I can’t exactly make myself use them. Anyways, I just always wondered if I’m not too cautious with how I approach make up application etc. It’s important you’re fine and I won’t probably change my ways.there are too many pollutants during the day to use dirty hands on my face at the start of the day.
Whilst I understand what you are saying, some sunscreens tend to leave more of a greasy film on the surface than others. The one I am currently using does that so I find it helpful to blot before foundation otherwise it causes the foundations to slide around. Also, I am not removing it by blotting, swiping would do that. I also top up my SPF with a spray throughout the day, so I am not concerned.
I explained at the beginning that now summers on the approach I decided to get shade 7 as 6 would be a touch too light and even more so during the summer months. I’m currently on vacation and have some colour so this shade works perfectly now.
Thank you for doing such a thorough review ! You look beautiful xxxx
Thanks, Lisa! I love it 😍
Incredible quality as always 👏🏼 xxxx

Hi Melinda,
I used Dr.Jart Ectoin moisturiser as I’m using Tretinoin, and I used Teoxane UVA Shield SPF50+
Hope that helps!

That shade looks really great on you. Do you know what shade you would usually be in a mac foundation? I'm trying to decide the best shade. x
Why oh why didn't I get 7? I got 6, and it's lovely and I love it, but it's a bit too pale. I bought it for my daughter's wedding on Sunday. Any tips?
I have a tutorial for this exactly problem! 😁

Sunscreen works by forming a film on the skin. It isn't supposed to 'sink in'. If you blot it, you are just taking it off!
