Hello! Excelent recipe, thank you very much for sharing! I have added 1 tsp of baking powder, 1/4 tsp of baking soda instead of cream of tartar that I didn't have at home. Another replacement I did it was a tiny bit of almond extract in the place of vanilla essence and added 1 tbsp of canola oil to the batter. It came out amazing as yours, thank you very much! Keep posting! :-)
Hi! Thanks for the wonderful healthy banana bread! For me ripe bananas are sweet enough so I just added 1 TBSP date syrup instead of honey , used plain soy yogurt instead of greek yogurt and the result came out wonderful! ❤️👍🏼 Love from 🇫🇮.
I made this, but changed it up a bit to veganize. I also used 1/2 oat flour and 1/2 of my own gluten-free flour blend by weight. Since my yogurt wasn't full fat dairy yogurt I added a little bit of coconut oil. It came out looking great. It'll be part of breakfast tomorrow morning.
You can avoid eggs with another 1/2 banana (for each egg) which is a great egg substitute. However, you can replace the egg with crushed flax seeds in a ratio of 1 tablespoon of flax meal with 3 tablespoons of lukewarm water.
I tried it as per the recipe today except for two changes. I blended the banana in a blender (it was ripe but not too ripe) and then mixed oats flour with a spatula. I found the bread looks very dry from outside and inside it’s not spongy. Taste is good with the right amount of sweetness. The entire house smelled good from banana baking. Not sure what went wrong. I didn’t get the texture quite right. Also there was no oil or butter in this recipe. Was that supposed to be like that for healthier option? Next day it become like brick hard to cut even with a knife.
@@RisingYeastRecipes Many thanks for your reply. Yes I did. It was was hard but even more the next day on. In your recipe where you have put 3c i took it as 3 cups. Is that right?
You should probably look for pure oats, which is a difficult task considering that most of the purchased oats are cross-contaminated. Try with gluten-free oats or rather with some other gluten-free flour.
Can I use another ingredient to replace the honey? 🤔 Perhaps maple syrup, golden syrup. My family like honey but not in baking. Other than that I will try this easy recipe soon. 😋😋 Thank you.
I follow your recipe and it came out hard...like pudding consistency. I used Oat flour from Bob's Red mill and fat free greek yogurt....i made two batches so i double the recipe. I used half honey and half dates syrup. Does it sound something i did wrong?...Please help....i really want to make this bread
Love the jazz music and the simple recipe. Thanks.
Thank you!👍👍

Great Sarah, thanks for your feedback!😀
Thanks Sarah for the baking powder and soda as I don't have cream of tartar either and not likely to use on a regular basis. I'm also adding walnuts.

@@RisingYeastRecipes Absolutely! The result was truly delicious.
Hi, it looks delicious. What can I use instead of Greek yogurt?
Hey Sara, you can put 1/4 C of peanut butter, 1/4 C of coconut oil or 1/4 C olive oil or the same amount of non dairy yogurt...
Thank you for sharing your recipe. I can't wait to try it. The rolled oats you used are they the quick cooking oats or just rolled oats?
Hey Maricela, yes I used quick oats for this recipe.
Can one use regular oats?
I don’t understand!! Can you use cups! Please!!
Shall I use coconut suger for replaced honey
Hey Malathi, yes you can use it, no problem at all!
I cant measure g. Could you use cups and tsp/Tbsp?
Hi, in the description box there is also a recipe in cups and tbsp, happy baking!😀
That looks so good. Saved it. 👍🥰
Thanks Jo!
Can i omit egg

Thanks for the pointer
What can I use in place of Greek yogurt.?
You could try it with plain yogurt, sour cream, butter milk, but the quantities need to be adjusted...or it will be too runny!
Can I use sour cream in place of Greek yogurt?
Yes you can

Hi Nabeela, you did bake it at 180 °Celsius ( 356 F ) for 50 minutes?

How to remove the gluten from the oats, it's difficult to vcome by in Botswana

Hey Susan , of course you can use other sweetner or syrup, or you can do it without any. 😊
@@RisingYeastRecipes Thank you. I will let you know the result.
Can you please post the recipe
The recipe is in the description. 😊
Can instant oat be used?
Hi, yes of course !🙂
Thank you🤍🤍🤍😋😋😋
Thank you Robin!
Please send me your receipt. 😊
Do I use baking powder or do I use cream of tartar or both? They are not the same thing, so I am confused?
You can use or baking powder or cream tartar which is better
I'm still trying to figure out how it looks so moist ...and you didn't use any oils or butter?🤔
Hey Phalisa, bananas and yogurt give softness and juiciness.
Use your potato masher on the bananas. Its easier than pushing on a fork. Jazz music is distracting. Had to shut the sound off.
Hi Ethel, thanks for the suggestion, I tried with a potato masher but sorry I'm faster with a fork.😊

Sorry I don't understand , you baked it already and it came out hard or too liquid?
Mine came out hard too, like a brick, a chewy doughy brick and I used oats that I ground myself.
could b the temp. lower by 25°
Do you really need 6 grams of salt?
Of course you can give a smaller or larger amount of salt, as desired...
Can you leave salt out ?
As I don't like salt.
Can I use regular baking powder instead? I dont have cream of tartar😆
Hey Akyl725, of course you can use baking powder or baking soda too.
@@RisingYeastRecipes Yay! Thank you :)
😘😘
You need to talk and to have the measurements in OUNCES too! We don't understand grams. Useless
Hey Nisie, you have a recipe written in tbsp and cups in the description section.
This is a copy of another channel. Same ingredients.
Hi, there are many recipes out there that sometimes unintentionally double, but thank you for your input.
It didn’t come out good.
Sorry to hear that!
