- Today we will bring you to another overnight session at the one and only Punggol Waterfront 2. It was a slow night with almost no bite on our rods. Lucky to spot Barramundi’s hunting on the side wall and we manage to scoop one. Instead of scooping squids, we ended up catching a number of cuttlefish that showed interest on our Kerosene lamp. I hope you guys enjoy!

Just a advise.
Try not to use / burn charcoal on the ground (@3.32). Invest in a portable grill instead.
If not in future NPark will start making rounds and more banned areas in Singapore again.
i noticed there's a long string of floats (blue drums) along the fishing spot which located reasonably close to shore. was wondering how far u guys actually cast your line? if it's beyond those floats then you'll end up snagging your line during retrieval....

Where did you get such a long scooping net from? I believe it stow away neatly as I don't see you carrying it.
By the way, I am surprised that you cut the cuttlefish as bait? I find it more effective if you use it as a live bait. Am I wrong? I used to use squid as a live bait. Cuttlefish has a hard shell so I am not sure.
HI there, its a 3 section custom net :D Cuttlefish wise I remove the hard shell then you can use them for bait. We tried to use them as live baits also but we keep on getting snag.

Hi there, we always use fresh bait like squids. Very effective at Punggol waters. Barramundi wise I believe they like like baits more like prawns and mullets.

For me I find Squid more effective. But its my first time using cuttlefish as bait so I can't really say much for now 🤔

Hi there, I cast depends on the flow of the tide. If its going in Ill cast sideways and if its dead tide, I will cast straight. The purpose of the barrels is like a "Sea Gate" to prevent boats from getting to near the shoreline (aka) illegal activities such as illegal immigrants etc.
