"Poke*mom*"? Seems like there's a typo in the title. As for what type should be next… well, all that's left is Bug 2.0, Dragon, Fairy and Poison. So we can't continue the type advantage streak no matter what… maybe we should go in the reverse direction and start a Type DISadvantage chain, starting with Poison, then Fairy, and finally Dragon, then the Bug-Type redux to cap it all off.
A quagsire made me rage quit....that thing just wouldn’t frickin die. It couldn’t attack me but it’s defense was so high and it just recovered every time I thought it was finished, also I literally just replaced the only grass move I had with a different attack so yeah this thing isn’t as much as a threat as it is annoying.

@@luisvelez1952 Golem's not that bad. And to be honest, when it showed the weaknesses, it show the weakness that Alolan Golem had, not Kantonian Golem. Quagsire's also is a little worse in my opinion, but I do agree that Whiscash is shit.
Quagsire on this list is blasphemy. Yeah it does one thing but its so good and annoying at it especially paired with any other good pokemon ever. Switching inro ferrothorn to take a grass move is such an easy move
Might be beating a dead horse here, might just be wasting my time. But using the ability to take damage from a type it's WEAK to as criteria to go on a worst list doesn't hold up under scrutiny. Most of this list, sure. Quagsire and Sandslash? No. There are worse ground types.
I dunno the Claydol I've been using for my Pokemon MMO playthrough has been doing amazing in nearly all of my battles. Of course that's probably because of it's EV and IV points. It can take a hit and hit hard and fast.
Claydol was my starter in the Pokemon hack Snakewood. It was awful. I never remove starters from the team but it was unable to put in a lot of work in a fairly difficult game. If you do play the Snakewood hack DO NOT SAVE IN FORTREE CITY GYM. I got hard-locked after 40 hours of gameplay. the exit may not work.
I’m quite conflicted about the Quagsire pick because of its semi bulk, incredible typing, and great ability in unaware, but overall I’m glad you made this list.
While someone gonna make an argument necause the same thing applied to both Parasect and Ariados, it's still very good. It's the only thing that can wall the monstrosity that it is Zacian-C
i LOVE Sandslash sooo much, but I already knew he'd be on this list. They really treated [Kanto] Sandslash like it's a Normal type they forgot they made Ground.
I would understand with Unova's Stunfisk being on this list, but not Galarian Stunfisk as the same. For one it has a great typing being Ground/Steel meaning tho while it does have some weaknesses (like fire, water and fighting) it has many other resistances and 2 immunities being Electric and Poison. Not to mentioned as slow as it is, it's good for setups like Stealth rocks and unlike Unova's Stunfisk, it can take it hit and survive with its defenses(being part steel type). Plus it has a better move pool than Unova's own and has the signature move Snap Trap. And as a personal bias I think Galarian Stunfisk design is wayyy better than Unova's Stunfisk. So overall I think Unova's Stunfisk should be higher on the list rather being tie the same with Galarian Stunfisk. Its still not that great competitively tho but it is at least better than the original.
I respect your opinion, but personally I don’t think Quagsire is bad because of the possibility of it’s ability to be taken away. It’s very rare that happens. Galarian Corsola is pretty amazing and that’s because of it’s item. And that can get taken away quite easily.
Fun fact: Quagsire despite being NU or something, somehow marches over to OU and Uber sometimes. This is probably a reference to its ability: Unaware since Quagsire is pretty much unaware of its tier and still goes into Uber being fine
Wormadam again? My goodness, what’s the purpose for these half assed Pokemon? I know you already suspected people are going to disagree with you about Quagsire but I’m still going to do it anyways since it’s still a good user of his Unaware ability.
Marowak and Quagsire are pokemon I don't think should be here. There's a comment on Quagsire, but Marowak? Underrated. Not only does it's signature item, thick club, help, but my brother also ran an incredibly trick room set with it. With swords dance to set up this rate, and it's attack and defense being really good, it's a certified sweeper, and does really well in doubles, too. I would say it doesn't deserve this sloppy spot when it should be way higher then sandslah and STUNFISK (I like Stunfisk but, it shouldn't be lower on the list then Marowak)
@@kingpig8732 I heard them about them in the latest generations but I tend to stick in generations 1-3(sometimes 4 and the remakes like OR and OS). But the most annoying four to me is Zubat/Wobbuffet(tie), Claydol, Spinda, and Voltorb.

@@omarmendez0402 no, one’s rock/ground the other’s rock/electric.
1 time I did sweep with Ddancing Whiscash. That is because Opposing carnivine missed its power whip
My guy said “pokemom”
Typo
One thing I can say about #8: He bring the pain!
It's a Quagsire Buff meme.
I'm disappointed Mystic doing my boy Quagsire dirty like wtf
It is sad that Marowak is so low. THE ALOLAN FORM HOWEVER... It was one of my Ace members on my Ultra Sun team. Flare Blitz combined with the Thick Club and the Rock Head ability did BRUTAL DAMAGE
I love Sandslash though. Ever since I used it in Jhoto.
If a Pokemon is slow just expect it to be on a list for this guy. The fact quagsire is on the list doesn't make sense
Kinda predictable. It is also true that speed / priority moves is everything in these days
Was that alolan golems type chart at 12:28 ?
With the exception of Sandy Wormadam, all Pokémon in this list are usable, whose proves how good the Ground-type is.
Mystic: Wormadam doesn't have any moves.
Also Wormadam: Has access to Quiver Dance, Bug Buzz and Psychic...No rock moves tho🤔
Sandy Wormadam gets Rock Tomb via TM and Blast via level up.
@@ShadowtheTH-camr523 But both are physical...so forget them :/
wormadam is still garbage so thats that
@@shiawase8694 Yeah, Quiver Dance is just made for Volcarona right 🙂
@@TheWildScizor9731 it has higher physical attack.
12:36, that's not the typing weakness of golem
Of course Wormadam would be bad have you ever tried hitting someone with a slice of pizza?
Wow. My top 5 favorite types in reverse order completely: Ground, Steel, Ghost, Fighting, Electric.
9:16 - 9:23
Prepare for trouble. Make it double.
13:46- 13:51
Make it double double.
Poke mom? Looks like your mom loves pokemon a lot
I used a sandy cloak wormmadam on a bug playthrough on x or y and did fairly well, it was my defensive Wallander allowed me to revive my heavy hitters
Wall and *
A quagsire made me rage quit....that thing just wouldn’t frickin die. It couldn’t attack me but it’s defense was so high and it just recovered every time I thought it was finished, also I literally just replaced the only grass move I had with a different attack so yeah this thing isn’t as much as a threat as it is annoying.
Quagsire is freaking amazing, it’s the BEST kyogre check, WTF are you talking about
Almost clicked off the video when number 1 was Sandslash. It was always one of my favorites back when I actually played as a kid (Gen 1/2/3) But ily Mystic. So I kept watching.
Quagsire is the best water on ground type Pokemon
The fact you put Stunfisk above Marowak hurts.
What? Honestly I like Mystic but some of these list are just not the best in my opinion
What? Honestly I like Mystic but some of these list are just not the best in my opinion
is ground/rock/steel trio more popular than the fight/psychic/dark trio??? not being smart, just curious i always thought otherwise.
Mystic, the logic you used for quagsire could also be applied to diggersby.
...as someone who's watched False Swipe Gaming, seeing these all hurt, especially for Quagsire holy christ Dx
quagsire is a great pokemon defensively and can stop a pokemon sweeping you team, whiscash is not great but it get of multiple dragon dances with its good typing so it deserves better than number 2
Wait he showed the wrong weakness chart for golem
sandslash is my favorite Kanto pokemon I knew it would pop on this list sadly.
Uh, the editing this time missed a few retakes of some lines. Also I don't see how you can say Sandslash is better than Quagsire and Claydol lol
But despite sandslash being weak i still like it, cause i like its design pretty cool and cute at the same time
Weakest ground type is sandy wormadam you bet
Second this
Amen
Golem isn't on my Top 10 Weakest Ground type list and neither is Runerigus. Also you gotta do the Poison type Pokemon to do the Dragon and Fairy types last.
Golem deserves a mega evolution and it’s ability will be the Solid Rock ability to be better in battle
@@luisvelez1952 Golem's not that bad. And to be honest, when it showed the weaknesses, it show the weakness that Alolan Golem had, not Kantonian Golem. Quagsire's also is a little worse in my opinion, but I do agree that Whiscash is shit.
I would like to see sandslash get a new evolution. I would like to see it take on a steel type
Good idea but they already gave alolan sandlsash the steel type. Ice/Steel.
Quagsire on this list is blasphemy. Yeah it does one thing but its so good and annoying at it especially paired with any other good pokemon ever. Switching inro ferrothorn to take a grass move is such an easy move
Sandaconda and Mudsdale didn't make it to the list, so I'm 100% fine.
Dude, Mudsdale was on the Best list.
9:19 Why did you repeat?
Might be beating a dead horse here, might just be wasting my time. But using the ability to take damage from a type it's WEAK to as criteria to go on a worst list doesn't hold up under scrutiny. Most of this list, sure. Quagsire and Sandslash? No. There are worse ground types.
9:15 - when Mystic repeated himself, I thought he was stuck in a loop
You're just hearing things......
.....twice.
Mystic please make a best team in XD since you have made one in Colosseum
I dunno the Claydol I've been using for my Pokemon MMO playthrough has been doing amazing in nearly all of my battles. Of course that's probably because of it's EV and IV points. It can take a hit and hit hard and fast.
i love me some claydol
I tried to run a Claydol as an offensive attacker in my ORAS Nuzzlock.... It did not go well.
In defense (pun) of runegrigus it also gets body press with that massive base defense can be brutal, especially in trick room
So according to you quagsire is bad? So how did he get in UBERS in multiple gens proving its usefulness stats aren't everything sir
While someone gonna make an argument necause the same thing applied to both Parasect and Ariados, it's still very good. It's the only thing that can wall the monstrosity that it is Zacian-C
Quagsire????????? Do you even pokemon???????
i LOVE Sandslash sooo much, but I already knew he'd be on this list.
I'm really surprised diggersby didn't make it on the list
If go Catch’s all Pokemon wht will happen can some on explain
Fun fact: Quagsire despite being NU or something, somehow marches over to OU and Uber sometimes. This is probably a reference to its ability: Unaware since Quagsire is pretty much unaware of its tier and still goes into Uber being fine
Wormadam again? My goodness, what’s the purpose for these half assed Pokemon? I know you already suspected people are going to disagree with you about Quagsire but I’m still going to do it anyways since it’s still a good user of his Unaware ability.
Yeah I could of added more worse grpund types on the list than just putting Wormadam again honestly.
@@SonBlackHeart22No, I actually agree with Wormadam. I’m just wondering why Gamefreak would waste their ideas on such a terrible Pokémon. XD
@@nintendolife25 I think it was to make a Pokemon with different forms depending on the enviroment.
I bet Wormadam (Sandy cloak) on this list or not its should be a honorable mention
Dude, Runerigus is a tank, you use Haze, Body Press, Ally Switch, Iron Defense, Taunt, Trick Room or Payback, it's a great defensive pokemon
Bad HP
You ain't going far with that
there are so many better TR setters
Quagsire is viable above its competitive tier. Tisk tisk. Good pokemon
It's really outclassed by HDB clefable
That's a WAY better unaware 'mon
12:35 is that chart for Alolan Golem, because for regular golem that isn’t right
Excellent video though
I find it funny his number 1 pick Sandy wormadam is band in the professors cup in the Pokemon TCG
Lemme tell you Claydol in RSE was so annoying at the twins double battle, i threw my game in rage
I had the same type of thing with watchogs in black and white cause they kept spamming hypnosis and confuse ray
@@kingpig8732 I heard them about them in the latest generations but I tend to stick in generations 1-3(sometimes 4 and the remakes like OR and OS). But the most annoying four to me is Zubat/Wobbuffet(tie), Claydol, Spinda, and Voltorb.
@@rulerofall015 wow, so you haven’t played gen 5? You definitely should, cause the games are really good, especially b2w2 and you could probably just play them on an emulator
“I’m just grounded…”
😂😂😂
Good one!!
Some of the commentary just doesn’t make sense. Quagsire sucks because it’s 4x weak to grass? What does that mean? There’s plenty of great pokemon 4x weak to something
Hey Mystic, you have a typo in the video title
Hold the fuck up! Golem's type matchup chart's messed up (for kanto golem).
Ice is Super Effective to Ground, it's X2 not x1
Rock is ineffective, it's x1/2 not x1
Steel is effect x2 not x1.
It's immune to elect ric x0 not x1/2
Flying is x1/2 not x1/4
Grass & water should be x4 not x2 & ground should be x2 not x4
Quagsire is just good because of unaware, Mega - Lucario was only ubers because of adaptability, mega mawile is only good because of huge power, Hippowdown is only good because of sand-stream lol, clefable because of magic guard these reasoning to call them bad is meh, it's their ability and typing what makes them good.
@The OG Clef has magic guard so it is the best defensive OU mon. Cosmic power + Soft boiled for longevity and Moonblast and Fireblast or any coverage for offensive pressure or passing wish.
@The OG Yup, Shadow TAG made gengar Ubers, Parental bond made M-Kangaskhan Ubers so ability does matter which Mystic seem to say doesn't matter that much which I disagree with.
