Is butcher box worth it?(Honest review)

- This is an unpaid, unbias Butcherbox subscription review. This review is based on the chicken and beef box. I started out paying 128 which their price has gone up 10 dollars inevitably with everything going on. You can choose your type of meat but every box the cut of meat is a surprise. All in all I think it's a decent option especially if you are in an area where quality meat is not available. You don't even have to leave your house. Meat gets a bad name rightfully so... alot of it probably should but quality grassfed meat is the key. This is not a cheap service so with anything you do what works for your life. I currently don't get a delivery every month because I've been finding good local options and when they have their sales I delay my delivery until the next month. Hope this helps! I get mine every 8 weeks and do the custom box so I feel like the value is there more- I usually get Ribeyes or NY Strips so maximize my 6 selections with the more expensive cuts. I also have paid a one time fee to get bacon in every box and 2 lb ground beef in every box and 3 lb chicken wings in every box. I think it was a one time 30.00 for the bacon for life and a one time 44.00 for the chicken wings and I think it was around 50.00 for the one time fee for the ground beef for life. You just have to wait til they do the "for life" offer or new subscribers and reach out to customer service to ask if there is a code for current subscribers and they send you a link :-) . It is a little pricey for sure but delivery to your door for no charge can't really be beat. Thanks for the unboxing.

I have the free ground beef and bacon for life
I’m looking for meat that don’t have chemicals or bad stuff in it. Does grass fed beef have that ?

You should do the custom box. My first one hasn't even arrived yet, but in tracking it and seeing what they sent, I'm already disappointed. They threw in ground beef for life, but put ground beef in my first box as part of my "six" selections. FedEx has horrible tracking, btw.
