Looks so good! I'm sure one of those jars have our name on it! When Graybeard and I were there yesterday, I was sitting back listening to you all talk and the pride that I have because a few short years ago you all were just out of college, newly married expecting a baby growing your first garden on your own. Now look at you. Your pantry is full of veggies and meat and your freezers are full and everyone is enjoying life on the homestead! Very proud of you all.
Woohoo! I love it! I still have a ton of blueberries in my freezer from last year that I need to use up. I believe I have the exact same immersion blender. I use that thing all the time. Thank you so much for participating in the collaboration!
I had several quart bags of blueberries in the freezer from last summer and had been wanting to do something with them. My wife asked for pancakes for dinner yesterday so while she was taking an after church nap me and my 11 year old knocked out a batch of syrup. We water bathed 3 pints and kept one out to use with dinner. It was a big hit. We will be doing a batch with some blackberries soon. Thank you for the video.
I just used the last 8 qt. Ziplock bags of my homegrown blueberries that were in my freezer. I made more blueberry pie filling. As we loved the pie filling I made with a bunch that I froze during the picking time mid summer. But I have 18 bushes and they are different ripening times from June into September. So the later ones I picked were still in my freezer. So got them out and canned 7 qts. Of blueberry pie filling. It is so good on pancakes and angel food cake. 2 years ago I bought an electric water bath canner. And I love it!!! You set it right beside your sink. And it has a spigot that hangs over the edge of your sink. So no more heavy lifting that big pot of hot water. And if you don't have a pot filler, like I don't. I don't have to trail water from the sink to the stove top to fill it. Then when you are done just open the spigot and drain it into the sink. Easy peasy! And the water heats up faster in it too. And it holds 7 qts. Best invention ever! Been canning for 43 years now. And I thought it was a stupid idea. But this old dog (62) learned a new trick. Water bath canners! Who knew!
That stop by and say hi to my awesome friend she both look wonderful today love your new home and looks like we’re gonna get a nice class on canning hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy and Debbie
Yes! Stivers are apart of A Good Life Farm canning collaboration! Perfect timing, I have blueberry’s in my freezer that need to be canned up! This will be a great addition to my preserves! I see pancake with syrup coming soon!!❤️❤️❤️
I’m so excited to find your channel. It’s going to be fun binge watching all your videos. Love to hear you have a freeze dryer. My husband and I have it on our list for this year to add to our persevering equipment.
Awesome! My husband is blueberry crazy. This would be a great surprise for him. I canned some jam and reluctantly used a white dish cloth, I dumped half of jar on my towel! I will definitely do this, thank YOU!! And OMG that sink!!
I am SO canning this tomorrow! I haven’t planted blueberries here yet, so I bought 2 huge bags of Wild frozen Blueberries and it is ON!! Thank you two! ♥️ BTW, Zack, you need to talk to my husband, We have been married, well, it will be 45 yrs in July and everything garden, he fights me on! Grrrrr😖 He hasn’t figured out the “Happy wife, Happy Life” thing yet🤣 MAYBE in the next 45 yrs??
I had a pint of blueberries in the fridge, so i quartered your recipe, and one pint of berries gave me one pint of amazing syrup. It really is that good. This gives me a great use for all the ugly, bruised, or overripe berries i end up with when i buy storebought berries. I was feeding them to the dog, but now they'll go into the freezer until i have enough for a fresh batch of this stuff! Thanks for walking us through this recipe, it really was as easy as you made it look.
I’m the only one in my family who likes blueberry pancakes. This would be a great option to make everyone happy on pancake day! I bet that kitchen smelled amazing too! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you for sharing your recipe. I love these collaborations, such a great way to find new people on here. Look forward to watching more of your channel.
I bought an immersion blender after I saw you using it for tomato sauce . This might be the first recipe I try it for. Canning scares me, but this looks so easy❤️
Thanks so much for posting the recipe. I watch these in bed most of the time and don’t have a pen and paper handy most of the time😀. Even if I didi probably wouldn’t be able to read my writing. First time watching your channel. I do love that you work as a team!
WOW, THAT LOOKS AMAZING JEN AND I CAN'T WAIT TO MAKE SOME FOR MY HOME. THANK YOU FOR SHARING THIS RECIPE WITH US AND I AM WATCHING ALL THE VIDEOS IN THE COLAB. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
LOVE IT!!!!! You guys have come so far in the last 3 or 4 years. Started following you well before your move to the new farm. Really enjoy your video's & being able to have that "Charlette's Web" experience each time! Takes me back to 1957, growing up on my Grandparents farm in rural Idaho. As Always, sending Many, many Blessings to you & yours! Till next time:)😊
Wow, great video and who doesn't like blueberries! You two make such a cute couple, love watching your videos and following your homestead journey. I did peach syrup last year and can't wait to add blueberry syrup to our pantry, yummy! God Bless Your Home.

That looks amazing! My Mom loves strawberry syrup, but we haven't been able to find it in ages. I'm definitely going to try this with strawberries too. Thank you, Stivers!
That looks really yummy. How fun fresh picked blueberries . Couple months ago canned up several bags of frozen blueberries. Your pantry I love I would love to have one on the main floor. It's so fun to see your pantry grow and all the things you're doing. I love when there's co.labs you get so many new ideas. Your pot filler that is got to be so much help
This looked like a great recipe. It actually surprised me though it makes sense that the syrup has so much less sugar than jam. I think I would really enjoy this. Thank you for the recipe.
I just found your blueberry syrup as our blueberries are now available at the farmers market. Followed your video and my yield was 9-1/2 pints. Can’t wait to taste it. Love you guys and your videos are so easy to follow.
Great idea to can syrup! Dah, why didn't I think of doing that? You can bet I will pick a lot more blueberries this year and make your recipe for this. Thank you. I enjoyed seeing you two doing the video together.
I’m so excited for this video. We get loads of blueberries from a local farm, but I’ve only ever stored them in the freezer! This will be great information to have! Thank you!
I usually put blueberry jam on my pancakes. So I would love this. We are planting blueberries this year. I hope to can this up. God bless you guys and thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much for showing us this I would love to try it and thank you to Constance for asking you to participate because I love to watch you guys and I love to watch her
My very first fruit water bath canning was a strawberry jam which hubby and I justed loved. You made this syrop making look so easy to follow that I really want to try it out. Thanks for sharing with us!
Loved watching this. I am a newbie and you guys explained it so well. I feel like I was listening to a friend telling me how to water bath for the first time. I will definitely be watching more videos of yours. Thanks for sharing.
Looks delicious to me. I’m differently going to try this. I’m really enjoying watching all these wonderful TH-cam channels in this collab. Thanks for sharing.
Yummy! I make Wild Blackberry syrup and it's great! (they grow all over our farm) A bit more work, as I remove all the seeds. I have made Strawberry Champagne Jam, Raspberry Jam with Walnuts and Spiced Peach Jam with Brandy. Those are some of my 'special' concoctions! Hope you and the kids really enjoy your beautiful Syrup!
Blueberries and a white shirt! I was yelling in my head "Jen, put an apron on!!" And THEN, you got the immersion blender out!! Oh, my! 😂😂 But the recipe looks delicious and I have blueberries in my freezer...I may be canning some up into syrup! Thanks for the video!
8:07 was funny. 1/4 inch .. lol And 8:43 had me busting up. Once I was putting jam in the fridge I canned the day before & dropped a jar. It was a sad day seeing the fruit splatter with glass all over. Lol
We do this with strawberry and raspberries. We mix it in yogurt and pour over ice cream or mix into a pound cake before baking. I don't know why we have never done blueberries. Thanks for the idea! Can't wait to make some.
Yay, two of my favorite homesteaders! Thanks for sharing.

I believe I have the exact same immersion blender. I use that thing all the time.
Thank you so much for participating in the collaboration!
I do the same with strawberries! Good for regular syrup things, over ice cream and even add to lemonade instead of sugar.
I had several quart bags of blueberries in the freezer from last summer and had been wanting to do something with them.
