On tomato paste open both ends of the can, remove one lid then push the other end(lid) to the other end. It pushes all the paste out without waste or much work.

My jelly turned out more like a syrup than a jelly, unfortunately. Tasted pretty good tho. Recipe was simple: juice 8 cups of watermelon to 5 cup sugar, use a jelling agent ( I used liquid pectin) Bring to a rolling boil and reduce. When you think you’re done reducing reduce some more. Get a movie on your iPad, you might need it LOL. I stood in front of the stove for quite a while. it still came out fairly liquidy as it did not set properly. Good luck LOL tasty project though. ❤ Hi Jenn and Zak ♥ I been wanting to learn how to can for a long time ❣ I'm learning from you Guy's now so thank you for sharing ♥ I do have one little advance for making sauce I'm Italian and when i make my sauce from scratch try to put white suger and some olive oil it makes a BIG DEFIANCE it takes the acidic from the tomatoes .Also I cook in my cheese 🧀 picarno/Romano.it thickness it up and just takes it to a hole new level ,if yu don't want to do the cheese do your self a favor and try the white suger suger and Olive oil. Love you Yeas, and Jenn you are such a great Mom / Wife / cook you do it all ❤

You know you can put a thickener in it like a tablespoon of corn starch dissolved in water and add to it when you pour the jar in the saucepan to heat it. I do it all the time. It doesn't change the taste. Make sure you don't do it before you can it because it will make a frothy mess while canning.
