    The reunion was ridiculous. Cole owned his mistake, they just attacked him like a bunch of high school mean girls.

    the reunion was infuriating to watch. And I totally missed how they let Zanab say crazy but not Cole

      I missed that as well. it drove me insane that Cole was the villain and not Bartisa!

    Allegedly Brennon beat up a girl friend before he came on the show She was drunk and didn't want to leave his house according to her he slams her against the wall giving her a concussion her mom took her to hospital next day injuries were documented Google it! And Brennon has the nerve to say cole was disrespectful to his girlfriend!

    I absolutely love these segments. I felt like I was alone out here feeling how unjust this woman’s behavior is. You are the voice of reason out here!! Thank you

    Everybody missed the mark with Cole and Z on that stage! If Nick and Vanessa (any dating hosts period) are going to help people with love they NEED to understand narcissism and manipulation and then cast accordingly!

      I completely agree. For me, the worst offender is Married At First Sight, where the "experts" seem to be completely incapable of recognizing a narcissist-victim relationship. They then actively encourage the victim to try to work things out with the narcissist week after week, often despite the victim wanting to leave.

    The fact that Zanib tries to save herself by claiming she's never been serious with anyone to share her space and that she likes her cleanliness makes her look more of a control freak and a giant red flag.

    When Zanab say "im looking like the crazy woman who cant let it go", its because she is. The pool conversation got out of control and blown up more than it needed to. Maybe it was unnecessary what they said, but Cole got punished too hard and too much for this. And i dont think it was THAT big of a deal. But it does when two insecure people act like this (Zanab and Matt). Its even more frustrating when Bartise did the exact same thing to Raven, and he didnt get "consequenses". Zanab continued giving Cole a loaded gun pointing to herself asking all dumb questions that would hurt her. She was very insecure, not that hard to see.

    I was super frustrated with them picking on his wording "insane" "crazy" seriously? It was just hard to watch how one sided the support was. And Cole was just taking it.

    I fully love and appreciate that you catch every small detail. I was sitting here waiting to hear if you caught that Z called herself crazy-woman first and you did. It's refreshing as I've watched quite a few therapist reacts and they don't even seem to listen, which is shocking to me...as therapists.

    Brennan is so annoying. He pissed me off more than the rest of Zanab’s little clique

    I really appreciate that you point when she laughs about her behavior. Infantilizing a grown person is abusive and really embarrassing to watch. She definitely shouldn’t be laughing

    These videos are great and pointed out some details that I totally missed in the reunion like Zanab calling herself crazy, or Vanessa asking *nicely* whether Zanab did any self reflection “at all”. The only thing that I would disagree with is your comment that Zanab’s contemptuous tone with Cole would only happen with a narcissist. I think that her tone was inappropriate and fits into the framework of her narcissism, but people with empathy can also sometimes be hostile, contemptuous or belittle others. I think that you were right to point out though that her reaction to seeing herself act in that way was not at all normal or empathetic. Thank you for these videos! I’ve learned a lot.

    • @thenarcissistwatcher
      @thenarcissistwatcher  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, you're right and I should have been more specific. A person with empathy can certainly be contemptuous.
      I was trying to get across the point that if your partner talks to you with that level of contempt in their voice, there is something seriously wrong and it's an enormous red flag.

      They tried but he didn’t budge, didn’t apologize and said he wasn’t going to explain himself whatsoever. So they had nothing to use from him and gave up. Not to mention Nancy was still head over heals for him at the reunion, so she wanted to let him off easy and hope that there would be a second chance with him later on.

    You have to do the new scene where Cole tried to apologize and she just disregards him

    Poor Cole, hes so weak. Toxic people love weakness. They're like sharks that smell blood in the water. They're loving ripping him apart, maybe in part because it takes the heat off themselves. He didn't stand a chance agaist this group of toxic idiots. I hope he gets some therapy and finds his strength.

    I wonder if the producers know that certain individuals are narcissists, maybe it’s the reason they are there, for the drama. Hope Cole get help after this, I feel for him. Zanib should get help too.

      I imagine they think something like "this person seems volatile - I bet they would be entertaining" but I doubt they recognize they are narcissists.

    I saw how narcissistic she was from the beginning in this episode but the hosts just merely let that whole thing happen?. Do people on the show not understand how manipulated they all were? How much gas lighting she did?

      I think very few people understand narcissism properly at the moment, but hopefully we can change that!

      That's very tempting! She gave us a brilliant example of the phenomenon of a narcissist dumping somebody then proceeding to suffer from narcissistic wounding when they move on.

    I’d loved to know your thoughts of Shake from season 2.

    • @thenarcissistwatcher
      @thenarcissistwatcher  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Shake is a type of narcissist that displays very obvious behaviors. Certain narcissists are incapable of "blending in" and frequently behave in ways that are far outside the scope of normal behavior.
      The vast majority of people won't realize they are a narcissist, but will still think "wow, this guy's odd/annoying/terrible/etc.". This is why, by the end of the season, all the other participants had caught onto him and basically ostracized him.
      Somebody with a good knowledge of narcissism would recognize what he was within minutes because he really is SO obvious.

      @@thenarcissistwatcher thank you so much for your reply 😁 I remember thinking how superficial he came across in the show, how focused he was on appearances. Then when they had the reunion he felt no remorse, he couldn’t see anything he had done or said was wrong. I did wonder if he was a narcissist. Thank you for your thoughts, very eye opening!
