Alvis Gives Sigurd the Silver sword, allowing him to make the next few Chapters a Breeze, Cuan, Ethlin, and Finn arrive, Azel abandons his brother to get in Aideen's pants with Lex tagging along, Alec and Noish visit a few villages before being benched, Arden does absolutely Nothing, and Mideer fails as a Bodyguard.

What an amazing theme for the first chapter. An underrated track but still recovered through time thanks to some maps in Heroes. I'm playing FE4 for the first time, and it's a great experience. Remake please.
I got Sigurd in Heroes and then tried out his game.
I beat it a few weeks ago and this OST struck a chord with me. By far my favorite fire emblem game. I can't recommend this game enough

Larcei, like her mother, was a goddess of war. Brave sword made her unstoppable. Although her twin wasn't as strong, he was still easily one of my best units. I actually had to stop using Larcei a few times because she was sucking up XP that I wanted to give to Leif and others
My pairings were Ayra/Chulainn, Lex/Brigid, Sylvia/Claud, Lewyn/Erinys, Beowulf/Lachesis, Azelle/Tailtiu, and Midyale/Edain
My only disappointment in the game was that Oifey never got better than "good enough", even at max level, cause I REALLY like him. He's become my second favorite character below Sigurd and above Seth
Spencer Durette I did most of your pairings as well. However, I had Lex with Ayra so the wonder twins could be more beefy with atk + def + Vantage. Also, I put Briggid with Holyn (Chulainn in the Naga patch) so their son could be stronger and threw Sylvia on Alec for laughs. As you said, the sword girls from Isaach are war goddesses who are both powerful and attractive so you could totally wipe out whole enemy sections with only Ayra and her kids. Also Ced after he gets Forseti but that's halfway through Gen 2. They put in the work and then you just use the other combat viable kids for support/healing.
You are right. Sigurd is the best cavalier in the any fire emblem game in this series.

To me, this theme resembles two things. Arden getting the speed ring and Azel getting surprise attacked when the bridge fell
Such a majestic and triumphant soundtrack for such dark fate that awaits Sigurd and friends...
as a modern fire emblem player the old fire emblem games seem to have amazing soundtracks

I mean they are mainly sword units. So I’m guessing that’s one of the reasons why.
